I wish I had taken more pictures of the brake controller install. I've been at this damn sound system install for way too long, but when I'm finished, I hope to do another write up or two!

I like the trailer harness mod. Do it after work today. I want to do the bumper trim mod that you did to your truck. What's all entailed with that mod and what do you think about Relentless Fab's cab mount chop plate mod? Just realized the 07 trailer hook up is different than the 2nd gen hook up. I seem to recall the 07 mod thread but can't remember where. Not much different.

Just use a small saw and trim both sides. After, push the liner in, and retap a screw from the bottom bumper into the liner to hold it in place.

I haven't seen the relentless CMC plate.

Sounds good. I will give it a shot. The CMC plates are pictured on Relentless' site. $25 for the set. Requires some cutting and welding. You gain over an inch more clearance.

I am considering doing the cabin air filter mod but found out K&N now makes a reusable cabin air filter part# VF2000 @ $41. I think your DIY mod can be done for less than $17 plus the time to construct them.

The electrical for the backup camera makes it more difficult to remove, unless they just use wire cutters.
