Any negatives with the wheel spacers? Are you rubbing anywhere? I'm rubbing the sway bar at full lock going forward, and I'm not sure how worried I need to be about that. Wheels are +50 offset with 35" tires - do you still have the 18" TRD wheels under your spacers? Geometry is tight in there, and I'm afraid backing the tire off the sway bar is going to have it hitting something else. Already removed the mud flaps and spats, and have a spacer on the bumper...

@RainMan_PNW Do you have any clearance issues between the coilovers and tie rod boots?
I can’t remember if I already asked you but apologies if I did already!

@RainMan_PNW does your heated steering wheel switch light up when your headlights come on? I just installed mine and it comes on when the switch is activated but it doesn’t back light with the rest of the panel.

Only when the switch is activated
I haven’t taken the time to open up the control box to see if the wiring can be modified to also use the illumination circuit.

So far, no real negatives other than more mass that I’m sure is contributing to mpg impact I’ve noticed since tires and spacers were installed. But it’s also not the ideal weather for driving for us either so not sure.

I am still running the factory TRD Pro BBS +60 wheels.

I no longer have any rub that I notice on the front sway bar, but traded it for a rub on the mud flap in reverse at full turn. I trimmed the bump that sticks out (over the body mount) and that helped but when aired down or in the right amount of suspension movement during the turn I still hear it make contact - I can see where I need to trim a little more on the plastic flap.

Things I haven’t done are try to find a shop that will actually use the Icon UCA adjustments to dial in the caster so that I can push the tire forward a little more with the LCA, but I’m sure that either trimming or getting ARK mudflaps will be enough. The extra little increase to 35’s would be close though.

Of course, I am also planning to remove the front sway bar at some point, so rubbing on it would be a non-issue.

Final step of the radio install - mic hanger.
I mostly blatantly stole the details from @BiggHertz except that I actually put a nylock nut inside the mic to help ensure the screw never comes undone.

Grabbed a Mob Armor MobNetic Go setup to dissect for the mic.
    https://a.co/d/aJhTyeN

Popped open the mic body (two #1 phillips screws) and you can see a hole in the inside that looks like it was made for mounting a normal mic hanger.
    IMG_4130.jpg

    IMG_4131.jpg
Drilled through that hole with a 9/64" drill bit. Then grabbed a flat-head #8-32 screw 3/4" long and nylock nut.

Tear apart the Mobnetic Go to pull off one of the magnets and mount it to the back of the mic, then put it back together and slip the rubber cover over the magnet (not shown).
    IMG_4133.jpg

    IMG_4134.jpg

Then mount the surface mount plate to the wings on either side of the radio (I bought an extra one to mount on the other side as well).

Put some random little fish-eye mirrors on the main mirrors. Not sure if I like them or not, but they are there for now. I don't feel like they really give me much additional field of view except that I can sort of tell if my tires are within the lines on a parking spot.

Got the set of Baja Designs Rock Lights mounted and wired up on the roof rack.
Details on the mounts are here.

I loomed up the wiring for the rock lights with the chase lights just to keep things tidy, and they are connected in to my SwitchPro. I do plan on getting some shorter screws for them though, along with some nylock nuts. The BD kit came with a set of really short screws for their "roll cage mounts" and a set of really long screws - which you can see stick out a mile on the back side of these mounts.

The magnetic mount is so nice and functional. Being around radios for over 30 years in the fire service, switching to a magnetic mount was so practical.
