    Not sure at this point.
I saw joonbug doing that too. Seems like a good way to add extra grip to it.

Has anyone Line-X their rock sliders?

Wouldn't be "sliders" if that is what they are being purchased for (unless you just did the tops). ;)

LOL. They may be shin destroyers for all I know if I'm not going to be careful.

When I bought my sliders, half the companies I emailed never even responded once they saw my location was north of the 49th. Haha. SDHQ was awesome to deal with and worked to get a reasonable & fast shipping arrangement.

Love the product too. Install was a snap and they’re super solid. I do wish they’d offered a bit better coverage and maybe options for fill plates. But I’m not a heavy user like some of the guys here- I mainly wanted sliders for better ground clearance and insurance against a once in a while misjudgement- so the coverage has been fine so far.
I Line-X’d mine and it’s worked out great. Probably not recommended if a guy is planning to use them as sliders every weekend, but for the occasional users it’s a decent option. Easily patched up with a brush or spray on hardware store bed liner.

Another endorsement here for White Knuckle... I used spray on liner, but in retrospect, I’d use regular spray paint on the sliders and spray liner just on the top-plate.

as for concern about caked on mud, I’ve never had an issue.

Did you get it bare metal or powder coated?

Also got the White Knuckle sliders with full top plate. I Raptor lined them the color of the truck. They don’t look like trash at all in my opinion.

Pretty sure they have made changes. I asked about the larger Toyota tank and the Transferflow as I’ll be upgrading eventually and they said I was good to go with those.

I'm guessing it either got personal or too heated, posts were removed/cleaned up and then locked.

It seems pretty clear, they are a gamble to buy from, despite the few who had decent experiences.

Just ordered my second set from WKOR on Friday. First was for my 100 series. Stoked to get some for the Tundra. I was limited on double cab options anyways. Now we wait...I did .188 raw with no top plate.

RCI just started their group buy this week so it's 20% off on sliders (if they are over 1k)

Hey! I started that thread and have no idea why it was locked up. We weren't getting heated or anything so unsure what caused this.

Can you send a link? I'm interested in joining.

If I didn’t just dump a bunch of money on a diamondback hd cover I’d be all over a set of sliders and skids.

    Yeah, no clue why either.

I have an email in to RCI for shipping to Canada. I have a feeling shipping will be $$$, but it's worth a shot with the 20% off

I’m also looking for a set of sliders for my double cab. Unfortunately, most shops have and sell them for crewmax Tundras but not for double cabs. Someone in another thread mentioned the frame hole mounting points are the same for crewmax and double cab frames. While that may be true, the body/cab mounts are not the same and may be in the way. So some manufacturers’ sliders may fit both, while others may not depending on the mounting plate locations.

I recently confirmed this by trying a set of Caliraised LED sliders designed for a crewmax on my double cab. The rear cab mount interferes with the rear mounting plate on those sliders.

By the way, the Caliraised LED sliders are very beefy and look well made. It’s a shame the rear mount interferes with the double cab frame mount. I spoke with the engineer at Caliraised who designed them, and he purposely designed the rear mount far back like that as a support brace in the event that part of the truck is dropped on a rock. He also has a set on his own Tundra. He suggested a cab mount chop to get them to fit, but at the moment I’m undecided on that.

Anyway, here are pics I took earlier this month that help show what I’m talking about.

Dang that sucks and that means you’ve got to make sure you get only DC compatible.

I’m set on the WKOR sliders, trying to put in an order soon as lead times are long.

I ordered my WKOR at the beginning of Feb and I think they're supposed to be done in 2 weeks, last I checked. I was quoted 8-10 weeks at the start, so that's about right.

There are a few brands that will work for both, but I don’t remember which ones they are.

Anyway, yeah, it looks like long lead times for a lot of things - sliders, bumpers, etc.

I picked Demello Offroad sliders. If you're going to use them as sliders, you need to drill. Otherwise, no drilling required.

So the wife and I are expecting in October... and she approved of the purchase for WKO rock sliders! She needs some steps to get in and out of the truck... and well I was thinking about some cheaper nerf bars, but may as well just go for sliders!

Now I’ve got to get a quote from WKO for shipping to the East Coast...

Congratulations! I'm torn between advising against taking the bait no doubt affected by pregnancy brain, or running with it before she changes her mind. I mean, it really is just like the time my wife told me to "just go buy the #@%$$ Ducati" I was looking at, which apparently I interpreted a little too literally.

I’m going with RCI rock sliders as my next upgrade. They are bolt on with optional drill through bolt on points if you desire.
Their bed rack is also badass.
