We bought the car in early February of 2015 from Vallejo Toyota CA.
This was our first new car ever. Coming from a background of messin with Honda swaps and Lexus' I've always wanted a Tundra since the first gens.
Main purpose for the Tundra was to tow my civic to the track, but that ended up selling because I had a little halt in my career.

Here was the original rig I checked out before she said, " you should get what you always wanted."
    image.jpg

And then the hunting went on..
here is the Tundra when me and my fiancé picked it up!!

    Yellow nokya halogen fogs installed
    [IMG]

    Got the retrofits going.
Mini d2s with Apollo shrouds. Kinda wish I bit the bullet and got the ls460 projector for the more authentic oem look and cutoff. This is one of my favorite mods for all the cars I've owned.
Working on my truck on the clock is the best!
This is from about 25-35ft ish.
A bit scattered light but it's not noticeable on road and doesn't blind oncoming traffic.

First snow run. So much fun.. Not much fun cleaning all that bs off!
Stock Michelins handled really well in the snow btw!

    25hp gains
    [IMG]

Big Sur/Julia Pfeifers drive down hwy1
    [IMG]

Had a bad storm one night and got lucky on this.. Or did I? Let's just say if it did hit I McNeil fenders would've been in.. Maybe hood?

I don't know what it is with me but whenever I park after a good detail I can't stop turning my head to take another look at it.. And then one last look.. And then 1 photo before I come back and see bird sh!t on it or something.

Ok.. Back to some mods.. I got more diff breather parts and did the tundra as well.
Same spot as my taco. Behind the driver tail.
I made sure to give it extra slack because +3 CB shackles were in soon to come on
    [IMG]

Loaded up the taco with some dirty fives!
CB front shims 2 each coil
    [IMG]

Parked downhill but still rocking that bro lean.

    Picked up some 285 70 17
For a buddy to put on his 5th gen t4r trail
    [IMG]
    Compared to the 35"

    +3 CB shackles going in!!

    The wheels came in!!
    18x9 +12 FN BFD !
Dustin came through with a clean "blemished" spare.. Really didn't find anything wrong with it..
Crappy part was that fedex dropped this off but the rest of my set was at the hub!!!..
Next day I called my delivery guy and he said he didn't have anything in the truck for me.. So I call him again the following day and says he doesn't have it in the truck again!!
FedEx says in transit.. So I call him one more time to ask if he might know who has em. He gets back to me in 2 minutes and says another driver has it and told me to go pick em up! I dropped everything and hit that gas to meet him at his location. Antsy me I guess. Always get like this when I don't my parts on time especially when everything was planned out day by day a week in advance.
Yup 2 sets of tires fit. The set of 285s and the 35s ready to go mount!!

    That +12 poke
    [IMG]

    Dialed in recomended specs
    [IMG]

    285 on t4rPro wheels
    [IMG]

That rusty rear cap really did bug me. I didn't want to run the fn centers because the screws are silver (getting black screws ordered)and the cap just wasn't appealing to me.

Welp I decided to buy some front hub grease caps and modify them to fit the rear.
    Came out pretty good.

And this is how it sits as of now..

Good build you got going on... Can't wait to see it in person and I'm super jealous of the rims... I want those rims but in a different color

    @Sean266 Thanks bud!
@2011_Limited_tundra Hey give dustin a holler at FN wheels. they got some cool colors. If you need powder coating done I have a buddy that can do some really cool colors.
I wanted to do these in Magnesium blue, but wifey didn't approve she wanted gloss black. So we left it as is lol.

I think that would be the gunmetal..
I seen one in person on a Tacoma and it looks really nice!

I was gonna pull the trigger on these.. I thought they looked really nice for the price.

I got the opportunity from HIDExtra.com. It was a 32" flood/spot combo with harness.
Its almost been a year, and its holding up really well.. Got a little bit of condensation, but over Light output is still good..
I'll probably upgrade to there newer version in the near future. And maybe upgrade the size. I'll post my DIY I made for them on here in a bit. I should still have the files.

Damn this a sexy build. FN BFD's are my favorite wheel on our trucks, looking to get those same ones somewhere down the road when the wallet cooperates lol.

Diggin the Taco and the sticker in the rear window as well :)

Nice to see another white pro! Love the retros too, after my Tacoma I really considered doing the all chrome bowl and shroud OEM look. You made things super difficult for me now haha

muahaha!Hey Stefen, the one you had on Rinzler were pretty bad ass..
If I went back and did mine I would've done the FXR or the LS460 projector.
But if you did black out the bowls I would do like Rinzler's, maybe a matte housing?

But check this out if you wanted to play around w/ that sidemarker reflector, smoke/smoke/amber/clear.
    http://klearz.com/products/toyota/tundra/2014_tundra_clear_headlight_markers

OEM look is really nice.. and im suprised how factory looking it came out. If you did the LS460 it would look super factory with the factory shroud it comes with!
Can't wait to see what you got in mind.

    Thank you Omar.

First the cover I got was used.. It shows some age..
There are a few paint chips on the folds I will definitely respray or just touch up paint.
As for the rest of the cover. It does look a little faded.
So I cleaned it with Chemical Guys Green Clean Diluted 15:1 (15oz distilled water/1oz green clean), and it brought some life back to it..
Next I will use some McGuire's plastic polish and buff the whole cover out.(hopefully bring that shine back)
    Then apply sealant.

I probably won't touch up the paint or Plastic Polish(fine finish w/ jeweling type pad) it until my next heavy detail on the tundra.. Maybe late fall before winter comes.

Sealant I will apply in an hour. on my next break.

Whatever you do plan to do or use on the cover make sure that it is Plastic safe.

AND ALWAYS EXPERIMENT ON A SMALL AREA BEFORE ATTEMPTING A LARGE PART OF THE COVER.

    @omaguz

Camera doesn't do much justice, but with just the sealant I used, it really brought it back. And not as much shine as I would want but it definitely is a lot more black than a faded black.. Not brand new but a lot better than it was when I first installed it.
Pretty happy with the results. Heading out to a hobby store to find some flat black touch up paint markers I can use.

Love em, On both my taco and tundra!
Going to test em in the sand hopefully at the end of the month. Lookin for a portable air compressor right now so I can air down and see how they do!!
And then maybe do some camping sometime next month.
