This will be the place where I can keep all my photos in one place (Other than Google Drive) so I can continuously return and look at my own truck. I'm not a mechanically gifted person, so some of the work has been done by me, while most of it with the assistance of some great techs. I'll be happy to answer whatever questions come about.

The "Warlock Edition" comes from my love of World of Warcraft, which I've been playing since about it's release. The blue represents my allegiance to the Alliance, along with the Lion you'll see for my love of Stormwind. User name Krezz, hence the nickname here, on the plate and known in life. (Totally a nerd with the love of the outdoors)

I'll document the changes I've made in the order in which they have been made as best I can. Certain images you will see the posts are slightly out of mod order. If there is a certain picture you want taken to better show an item feel free to ask, and I'll try as quick as I can to take a better shot.

I forgot to mention what it is, just in case but I'm sure most can figure it out.

First Mod - Singing in Privacy

Needed to complete the window tint so I didn't feel like a fish in the bowl where everyone could see me singing to the latest radio jam.

I have to keep that "Toyota Tough" look of the Tundra in check. :headbang:

    Second Mod - Jump Seats

One of the main reasons for getting rid of our Tacoma was to take advantage of what the CrewMax offered in space. When we take off on the camping trips we can now place both dogs and children in the back without worry. If you got kids in car seats, hopefully you also have the rear seat covers... bless those covers.

    Fourth Mod - Bed Makeup

I really liked that my Tacoma had the drop in bed that required nothing other than a bed mat. So within the early days of the Tundra I had to go with the Line-X bed spray. Worth every penny for the protection it offered.

    Fifth Mod - Version 2.0

Now that I had her all dressed up, I had to cover it up! I debated on a few different covers from BakFlip, Extang, Toyota OEM, retractable, soft vs hard... but ultimately it came down to the following reasons.
    Security, quality, convenience and appearance.

    • I like the hard vs soft for the security aspect, and the tie downs feel snug and secure.
    • The build quality felt right when I got hands on it with it.
    • It goes on and off within 5 minutes. The OEM I found had too many parts to remove that would have caused me headaches when I needed to remove the cover.
    • I think it looks good, so that always helps in a decision.

    Sixth Mod - Small Hands

The OEM antenna is just so damn long... and thin... reminded me too much of personal issues due to having small hands.
So naturally I decided to go with something I felt was more appropriate. The Stubby AntennaX 7" seemed more suitable for me.
Think it looks better, doesn't whip around in the wash and I haven't noticed any loss via the radio. Although I'm more of an AM talk radio guy vs FM, and I use Spotify for my musical requirements.

Seventh Mod - Let Em Know

I wanted to make sure everyone knew what it was I was driving around in. What better way than having your trucks name stand out while someone tails you. TUNDRA bed lettering raised!

    Eighth Mod - Stiffen Up

There was one mod I read more about than any other on here when I first joined and that was the Rear Sway Bar (RSB). Everyone went on about how much body roll it eliminated and such.
I must say, I drove around a few days before having it installed and I will take one out off the lot once in a while to feel it, and man the RSB totally did what it was advertised to due.
If you tow often, I hear that is another large benefit to having this mod completed. Now to satisfy my OCD, the red had to go...

    IMG_20160827_100835.jpgIMG_20160827_235449.jpgIMG_20160901_133239.jpgIMG_20160901_133248.jpg
    IMG_20170201_1531134.jpgIMG_20170201_1531235.jpg

I tried to take a better photo also from further back showing it but my cell phone isn't the best option it would seem for that. Maybe I'll try with my Canon at some point.

I agree with you on that - we have a set of Fuel wheels that have been placed on a Tacoma at the office that had a bronze highlight mixed with black and it looks really sharp.
I've had my eye on a set of Stealth wheels as a possible future project.

This isn't the best angle of the Tacoma fuel wheels but this is what I got lol.

and while not bronzed... this has caught my attention.

Ninth Mod - Changing The ID

While I've seen plenty of nicely done up trucks utilizing their chrome, this is something I was more than happy to get rid of. It began with the simple Plasti Dipping of the badges. I ended up removing the SR5 badge all together, but liked how the iForce and Tundra turned out. While doing my Tundras badges, the wife asked me to do the same on her Rav4 and my neighbor asked if I would do his Tacoma's... trend starter right here... :crapstorm:
Future chrome delete in the upcoming posts!

Tenth Mod - Rest My Hand

So I'm only an impressive 5'6" and with my wing span, resting my arm on the enormous window ledge while driving I am unable to get my hand to touch the top of the window so I can drive with my arm up comfortably. (If you can properly picture that) The window visor allows me to rest my fingers, PLUS I love the way it looks and the added bonus that even during the rain or when parked on a hot day, I can leave my windows open a crack.
The local LineX shop subscribes to a few brands of them, WeatherTech, AVS and EGR. Ultimately they all looked similar enough, and the EGRs were available at the time in the in-channel configuration that I wanted. So voila!

Eleventh Mod - Take Me Dancing

This is something I didn't get around to doing on my Tacoma... the KO2s. I loved how they looked and everything I read seemed to place them in high regard, but we got rid of the Tacoma before I had the chance. So only a few weeks into owning the Tundra I made sure that they got swapped out pronto. They really changed the appearance and feel of the truck. I decided also to change out the center caps and then decided I would plasti dip the wheels for good measure.

I had my Tacoma wheels done as well and they seemed to hold up pretty good. Will keep ya posted on these. So far through multiple washes and all the snow they look fine.

Thanks to the others for their comments and likes!
Tried to keep the comments slightly quirky for amusement for all! Especially myself. I'm my own biggest fan

Twelfth Night... I mean Twelve Mod - Step On Up

As mentioned before, due to my vertical challengement and having tiny children, I wanted to add a side step to the truck. I had these also on my Tacoma and while I wanted to add sliders to the Tundra over the step bars, I went again the route of the side step. My "off-roading" isn't there yet of where a slider would be put to use, but that will hopefully change once I get my RTT and discover better places to go out and visit.

To also help inspire my children to learn more than I did growing up, I made sure to ask them and involve them in the installation of these. It was fun being down under the truck with the boys as we tinkered around. Hopefully they'll learn enough in the future to be my own pit crew.

I present to you my N-Fabs 3" Wheel to wheel steps.

I love the build so far! As a fellow Blazing Blue Pearl, I love it. The Plasti Dipped rims look real nice and have intrigued me to possibly do it too.

There's some great videos on youtube on how to do them. If you have any questions when you get to the stage if you do, feel free to ask!
