Wanted to change up the rears somewhat to continue on with the LED conversion while customizing the appearance some more. Now I can assume that whenever I'm ahead of someone they are behind me thinking, "Wow, those lights are amazing" Went with the Spyder smokes out taillights and they were pretty straight forward to install. Don't reverse the wires, or there goes your fuse. This may have happened once while chatting with a friend and installing them. They fit in what seems pretty damn perfect when comparing to the gaps the stock taillights have around my lot.

All bulbs other than reverse were included. So I recently swapped those out to LED as well.

Kevin, how were they to take out? I know its a torx bit inside the tailgate edge, but I heard pulling them out for the first time can be a real pain in the ass.

You'll notice the first picture of the truck is outside, and then the finished pics are in the shop... LoL... They came out easy enough but I suggest making sure it's warm out and your fingers aren't frozen. That is what made the first one a PITA. It was too cold outside, and my fingers became numb.

Once warmed up inside, they came out pretty well. Just don't be afraid to tug with a little force. The clips are on the sides, so you kind of pull out and away if that makes sense, vs pulling straight back.

Makes total sense. I heard 2nd gens were straight back but our 3rd gens required out and away. Thanks brother, looks great!

Negative. I've had the interiors done on our Highlander, Rav4, Tacoma, Tundra and through my dealership I've done about 7 other vehicles for friends and none reported any flickering. All of mine have been noticeably normal, just brighter and cleaner.

Thanks for update since I got some from Amazon and after few months they started to flickering. I may need to get some different brand.

I bought all mine from SuperBrightLEDS.com as my one picture shown. Nothing but good lights I've had since dealing with them.

How difficult was it to Plasti Dip the wheels? Is it still holding up well?

Only took about an hour and a half to do all 4 with 6 coats of dip. I used garbage bags slit in half and used that to wrap around the insides. Then sprayed away. I can send you a better description and track down the video I used once I'm home it want.

Holding up well through the winter and multiple car washes. As did my Tacoma I had before with the same having been done.

I found the stock headlights to be pretty useless. The ones on my Tacoma weren't great either, but wow the Tundras were a little lacking to say the least. The wifes Rav4 stock LEDs put the Tundras to shame, so I had to get that taken care of. I began with just the TRD headlamps so visually from the outside they looked better and I had swapped the bulbs to PIAA NightTech H4s so at least whiten up the light some and give me the impression of a brighter light. Then for the real solve I went the retrofit route through our very own @eledobleu and he took care of things for me. My light angle went from illuminating about a lane and a half on either side to now I can light up the entire 3-4 lane highway from the center when driving at home. High-beams are also MUCH brighter.

I went with the switch back feature to keep it looking sexy. The amber to white just makes me tingle when I drive around and assume everyone is watching me come towards them being all like, "ohhhh those are some hawt amber LEDs, what are those?!" Install was straight forward, @eledobleu provided an awesome write up How To on this forum and taking my sweet time, buddy and I completed it within 2 hours.

I'll post up which lights I used once I'm back at work as I have them written in a text file on my computer there. For now... pictures!!!

    The lights used;

    Mini D2S 4.0 Retrofits
    Panamera DRL Shrouds
    LED Strip
Plug N Play Harness for LED's

    Temporary Light

    Twenty-Second Mod - Chariot Mounts

It was a good day when I got to get my bike mounts installed. It can't be all work no play. Went with the Rockymounts Clutch Forks. I used spare brackets from my tonneau cover as it shipped with two sets of hardware, so that was a win! I've only been able to get the bike up there once since installing. Waiting on some more free time and camping adventures to really put these to use. I believe the BAMF bedrack system I'm awaiting is high enough that the bikes may be able to still utilize these mounts while having the tent up time. Which would be a lot of fun.

I've got one on my truck as well, rocky mounts locking thru-axle to be specific. Absolutely love their mounts, nice to know the bike is safe and secure while hauling it around

TRD exhaust and intake. Pocket fender flares. Line-X: chrome grill, chrome bumpers, fender flares, rocker panels. Deck rail /w tie down cleats. Undercover Swing Case x2. All weather mats. Stereo system with custom underseat sub box and TacoTunes recurve EZQ.
Those stickers are :censored: awesome. I wouldn't steal your idea but I would love to have a DK one. Mained a Lock as my first character but switched to a DK at Wrath launch and have been one ever since. This truck is LEGENDARY.

    Twenty-Third Mod - Swing and a Hit!

It's been a few days since I posted up some of the other completed mods. Being home with a cold sucks, so I thought more pictures of my truck would cheer me up! Having come from a Tacoma, I really liked the in bed storage bins and the under seat/behind seat storage. I plan on adding the under seat storage offered by the vendor on here, but once my Son is out of his large car seat, which should be this year, as having to remove that damn thing to get the seat up is terrible business. For now I have been using the Undercover SwingCase. I don't miss the lack of tie down location near the driver side of the tailgate, it fits under my Extang tonneau, and it stores more shit than I thought it would. So Win, Win, Win!

The case swings nice and far out, which makes it very usable while standing off to the side of the truck. It pulls out very easily also, and can be locked into place securely with a pad lock. The lid itself also locks, so when I get my BAMF bed-rack system installed, the exposure would still be relatively safe keeping of my bungees and such.

You can purchase the case designed to fit either passenger or driver side... or you can go crazy and order one for each!!

    IMG_20160910_174754.jpg IMG_20160905_161913.jpg IMG_20160910_172806.jpg IMG_20160910_172816.jpg

ps. There is also a cup/bottle holder molded on the lid! BONUS!

All of this plus a few more items store away nice and tidy.

This was a great little thing to come across on here. With the center console being so cavernous, I loved that I could put so much inside, but man what a mess it was and trying to find that pack of gum at times would be like watching my wife look into her purse and finding EVERYTHING else but what you wanted. Anywho, this OCD (Organized Console Device) did the trick quite nicely, and I even got the shelf for good measure.

    Twenty-Fifth Mod - Get A Grip

Took forever to get to this one for some reason. As simple as it is, the price kept me away a little longer than intended. So I finally decided to bite the bullet, and get the shifter. I do like it more than the original vanilla one. Feels good in the hand... adds about 5hp naturally as well.
