2005 tundra ticking engine compartment

    When I start up cold there is a loud ticking noise and the oil pressure goes up but after a while the ticking noise goes way down and the oil pressure evens out to normal pressure.

    Your exhaust manifolds are likely cracked. Not a huge issue but common.

    Do they find this problem exhaust manifold cracked by using a diagnostic machine ?

    Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2 suspension, HD RAS, 285/75-18 Nokian Outpost AT, LoPro bed cover, TRD rear sway bar, DD 10 inch exhaust, and various other goodies
    could also be that you need an oil change. Ticking can come from many things- lifters, exhaust, accessory pulleys and belts. Suggest you see if you can isolate where the noise is coming from.
