Don't take no for an answer.
You have excessive wind noise, you can reproduce the issue, and it's their problem to figure it out. They can open a case with toyota to help them get to the bottom of it.

Where in your truck window sticker does it say "excessive wind noise at highway speeds"? You paid good money for your truck, don't let them off easy. Go to another dealer if this one isn't competent

I'm guessing Toyota engineers are paying attention to this thread. I have a 2024 Platinum with the power folding mirrors. I noticed today that there is a black material applied to the inner surfaces of the hinged areas that fills the gap, much like you managed with the hockey tape.

    My truck is very quiet.

I test drove a trd pro today. It had a major whistle from the left side at 55-75 mph. I folded in the mirrors and it persisted. If I rolled down the passenger window a bit it stopped but it returned after rolling the window up. After about 10 miles of driving the sound disappeared….. sounds like a weatherstrip issue to me instead of mirror. Is anyone aware of this problem and a solution? I love the truck but with this issue, hesitation at acceleration, failing engines and pain rubbing I feel like Kaizen isn’t the Toyota philosophy anymore

Obviously do not buy that particular truck that had whistling and wind noise, there are plenty of other, quiet trucks, just keep looking

Clearly that’s the plan. I was hoping there was a known remedy. The next one they dealer gets is still available but it’s hard to buy it in case it develops this problem and they can’t fix it

Sat at the dealer all day today for “the noise”. Dealer heard it and stated that no remedy is available and if they hear from Toyota that they will let me know. Just pisses me off with Toyota in general.

Would a fix come through a recall, or another method? Have my first service this weekend for my 24’ pro and trying to decide if I want them to try to tackle it, or just leave it alone for now. Mine has progressively gotten worse.

Must be hit and miss as my Pro is very quiet for a truck. Good luck getting it sorted out.

Well, after almost a year, I found my issue. 2024 Tundra Limited, the cover on the bottom of my passenger side mirror, the cover that can be removed to service the side camera, it was the culprit to that horrible wind noise. Here is a you tube link that I discovered that fixed my problem!!

I fixed mine today!!! Goodness gracious, I’m so glad. I put a piece of PPF across the bottom front seam on my Limited and it’s gone.
