I know you didn't pay for a Pro, but if that email shows how they advertised it then it seems like you'd definitely have some recourse. $38.5k isn't a fantastic price for a used SR5, so you could say you just thought you were getting a great deal on a used Pro and make them buy it back. That's only if you decide you hate it though, which it sounds like you don't. As others have said, get rid of those spacers and I bet your ride improves 100%!

    Yup. Spacer lift.

Man you just got had on the Pro front. Either they intentionally did that or are idiots that don’t know where their head ends and their ass begins.

I’d get some billies if you want to retain your ride height.

    Good luck buddy!

Lmao. Nice. Limited suits my wrinkled ass just fine too. I’d never turn down and SR5 trim either. I’d make a project out of it..
The pro is a fine truck, as is the platinum. I do miss ventilated seats. Pitty they all don’t move a lot of air

Nope. Extras are hit and miss. Sometimes it’s a special order, other times the factory kicks out so many units of X with Y.

Screw that! Tell them you looked up blue book prices for a Pro and thought you were getting a great deal. Otherwise you never would have bought that truck. If they don’t want to give you your money back, I’d demand they get those spacers off and replace it with some proper Bilsteins. I bet you have bigger tires and can’t just remove the spacers.

3” lift, black step bars, aftermarket wheels, LT305/55R20 was this way when I brought it.
how full do you keep your tires - I run LT305/55R20 I have about 34lbs on the rears and about 32lbs in the front rides great on my door jam it showed rear 34 and front 32 I think.

The pressure spec on the sidewall of the tire is a maximum inflation spec for the tire’s max rated load, which will also be on the tire.

Inflating to that spec on a Tundra will give you a terrible ride, terrible tire wear, and terrible traction. If the tire sizes are stock size or even close, go by the inflation spec on the sticker in the driver’s door jamb, at least short term.

My guess there’s over size tires on there that will rub like crazy when the spacers are removed.

Undoubtedly it’s the spacers. I think it might be worth a shot to try to have it aligned before yanking stuff off or buying a different lift. Regardless, the dealer whom sold you the truck should be flipping the bill for this or I’d be getting a lawyer. Part of your current “stiff” ride could be attributed to decreased wheel travel associated with coil spring spacer lifts. Shimmying most likely could be tracked to alignment and/or wheel balance. I’d like to see more pictures of this truck in question. With the limited data you’re feeding us leaves too much to the imagination. Maybe you should look under the back to see if some cheap blocks have been added without lowering the transfer case.

Too late to worry about this now. I did what I thought was a lot of homework before I bought mine, at least enough to recognize all the various trims, packages, and options, just so I'd know a fair price. But I've learned so much since joining this forum, it's like I had started at zer0.
Yes, your truck will sit a bit lower after you take out that spacer. I hear you saying you love how it looks, so know it will look different, but will ride better. Yes, you may want to keep less air pressure in the tires than what is on the sticker inside the driver's door. When people on here are talking about a "chalk test", this is what they're talking about:

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/tire-pressure-chalk-test-how-to-guide.2114/

This, @Ireland, and SDHQ sells a not-too-expensive set up that wil firm up your truck bed too. However, I think based on the pics you posted, and general consensus here, that once you (have the dealer pay to) remove that spacer (and maybe also get them to pay for better suspension and off-set so you can keep those larger tires without rubbing, which will also level at back up, so it'll look like you're used to), you'll be pretty happy. The SR5 TRD is not an uncomfortable ride and I've experienced very little bed bounce, always on concrete sections of the freeway.

    And this:
I'd push the dealer hard to square away your suspension in a way that removes that spacer, which will improve the ride, while providing some alternative that keeps those bigger tires from rubbing. And THEN get an alignment... which, since it is necessary because of these funky suspension issues, should be on the list of work I'd ask the dealer to cover.

Man, I hope this is resolved on a satisfactory way. I want you to love your truck.
