I'm assuming all of the above. :notsure:
Pro just has different suspension, wheels, badges, bed stamp and awesomeness
I could be entirely wrong though

PRO only comes with a 5.7L. 5.7L's come in all the listed trims.

Well I'm thinking of trading in my pro for an SR5 , my pro rides like crap like so bad and I've had a road force balance done. Not sure what else to do. It's bouncy on the highway and shaking on the highway

Mine does the same thing on certain freeways. I want to say it doesn't matter on the trim. They would all do the same.

It's constantly has vibration, also there is a tiny tiny stutter/vibration when taking off at high speed. I be in slow traffic and feel like sometimes it's bouncing, some say it's the tires but I don't believe that. At high speeds 80/90 bad vibration. This truck only has 20,000 miles on it, I'm pissed

Tires balanced? Ball in tires? Lifted? Carrier bearing spacer for drive shaft?

My Pro Comp Extreme At's on a previous vehicle would shake/vibrate/shutter slightly on anything more than mild acceleration or mild braking, only to +/- 20mph. Only tire that ever did that on any vehicle I ever owned. It was 100% the tire, nothing else changed when I went to those tires.

My last truck, F250 had a nasty shimmy at 65mph that I could never get out of the front end. I rotated the wheels directly to the back and it went away forever.

Just a question but in your avatar you have TRD wheels and not the PRO wheels. Did you swap those out?
Well if it's really is a problem, sounds like your pretty unhappy, maybe a new truck would be your best bet. Good luck with your decision

Do you have the rear sway bar, what psi are tires at? Sometimes its the road you drive on. There are certain sections of my drive to/from work where it seems like the truck is super bouncy. I keep track of where and changing to a different lane at those areas helped.

Valid point here. Your truck doesn't look like a PRO, just a standard TRD. PRO's come with all black wheels and blacked out headlights.

Mine seems to ride just fine on road even better at high speed. There is some bouncing but no more then my buddies F150. If you hate the truck sell it and buy another. I do find it strange you have no blacked out badges and no pro wheels. Sure you have a pro?

Your wheels are also TRD wheels. Did you change them? Can you post a photo of the suspension/bed side?

    Edit: what he said

The Pro's have the best ride out of all the trim packages.

Agreed, you do not have a Pro bro. In that case, if there is a spacer level, it will ride like ass.

This. Take a picture of the front coilovers (spring / shock) and post it. A decent suspension upgrade would cost a lot less then trading it in.

One potentially stupid question. What pressure are your tires inflated to?

    Legit question.

One time on an ATV trip a friend that was new to the sport was tired and falling back a ways. We waited for him and complained about the ride and how the machine was kicking his ass. We found 50 psi in the tires. We couldn't believe he didn't have a loud explosion. LOL 8 psi and life was good again.

No I didn't swap the wheels, that's what came on it, maybe the conned me saying it was a pro. I will take a few pictures of the coils . I'm not concerned if it is a pro or not I love the look of this truck, and the space for my kids, just need it to drive better. Some things on here you have wrote who should I take it to to get these looked at, a mechanic or and off road specialist. The tires are at the proper pressure cause I brought it back to the dealer with in a week and they done that. What is a spacer level ? All this help is awesome thank you

A spacer leveling kit are like little hockey puck looking things on top of your coil overs to raise the front end and it would definitely worsen the ride quality. Like these guys said take some pics and post them here to see if we can help before you take it anywhere. If they told you that’s a trd pro I hope to god you didn’t pay for it, what did you pay if you don’t mind me asking? And what year mileage etc is it

Not too bad if that were a while ago before the 18s, you’re not finding a pro for that price so that’s good

Have an extended warranty? Comprehensive warranty? Was it CPO?

I'd be in my dealers ass if I had an issue that I could not easily resolve on a vehicle this new.

The distinction that others are asking about between TRD and TRD PRO helps us understand differences that could cause your issues. The TRD PRO has a specific shock package that is different from the standard OEM shocks provided on the TRD 4X4 Off Road for instance. The TRD PRO shocks also level the truck which affects handling. Any modification, such as spacer, can affect the ride and level. I changed my standard OEM shocks to the TRD PRO shocks which made a big change in the ride of my 2016 Platinum and it is now leveled by this TRD PRO shock package. As an aside, I have seen many online listings for used Tundras that identify them as TRD PRO when they are actually TRD Off Road models. While there are many cosmetic differences, one distinction to help identify TRD PRO is the stamp in the bed fender side near the rear tail light. Also, stock OEM TRD PRO wheels are all black where OEM TRD wheels are silver and black.

Also, as I read responses, members are trying to understand whether you are describing general vibration on all surfaces or just specific surfaces. For instance, my truck rides great on smooth black top, but there are segments of concrete highway locally that cause some "bed bounce". I noticed this on 3 different trucks (2 different Silverados and 1 Tundra) at the same location in my local highway. Bed bounce is a somewhat "normal" or maybe somewhat well known issue that is better when the bed is loaded vs empty.

I think these distinctions may help with this conversation...I hope this helps...

I would go back to whoever sold it to you as a Pro and raise hell. They put a pro grille on an SR5 and called it a pro, very unethical whether this was a dealer or an individual.

Also if you didn’t know that the 5.7 comes in every trim it sounds like you should spend some time around here and soak up some knowledge about your truck before you make any big decisions.

I'd still check the tire pressure yourself. Wouldn't trust the dealer to said it's good, especially the same dealer who told you it was a Pro when it's really not. Even if you figure this ride quality issue out, I would go back to that dealer and explain they sold you a truck under false pretenses, saying it's a Pro when it is not is not fair, you surely paid some kind of premium for that "pro"
There was a dealer here in CT which had a very similar white "pro" for sale, out was not a Pro and I called the GM of the dealer, he said it was an innocent mistake. The next week the listing had changed from pro to sr5 and went down 5k in price.

Thanks guys, it's not the bed bounce it's the front end, it could be the road it doesn't happen too often. It's mostly highway where I feel the truck vibrating, back road to my house it's awesome, but most of my driving is on the highway so should I change or fix issues. From what I see from reading I don't have a pro, I have the off road. How much are shocks to replace, I ain't no rich guy so I don't want to spend a lot that's why I think to trade. But I love the look of my truck

From Pro and SR5 there should be a bit of sizable $$$, so if they lied to you in the sale of the truck you should really take up a case as you may be out of pocket more than you should have been.
Depending on how long you've had the truck and length of your loan, it may also not be wise to think trade too early into the stage.

Without knowing all your situation however, one can only speculate.
I hope things turn out in your favor vs working against you.
