Thats ok. I figured it out. Took a few different routes on removal. Cut out the Manifold and used El Impacto Supremõ.

I thought it was interesting on the old manifolds; how they pinched down the tubes right in front of each stud, to make it easier for factory to get a tool in there. Good for them, not good for mojo flojo

I've used the Valvoline synthetic in several different vehicles. No issues. Haven't seen it in a bag though.

P.S. I just looked it up & next time will order the bags.

We just did an 02 a year ago. Was a fight but Toyota did indeed end up doing it.

On a truck that really didn’t deserve it.

Here’s to hoping! The last truck was low mileage. But 3 accidents, poorly welded sliders and an owner that was a dick was the reason we all felt it shouldn’t of happened (frame was only rotted where the sliders were welded )

If they do it... Add the recall frame part number here. The original frames are discontinued.

Corolla will eventually pay for itself with the fuel savings.

That was the idea. I need to add a sheet to the excel page I have made to track MPG, mileage, gallons put in, dates, cost, etc.

Hopefully it takes a long time.If gas keeps climbing we may all be in coronas.
You really should track this all exactly. The goal is to save money so do the math on this.

Yeah in certain situations I can see the break-even point take longer to achieve. Commuting and expensive gas is the norm here so I broke even pretty quickly on mine. With the truck I also factor in the decreased wear-and-tear, decreased risk of door dings, and decreased risk of getting it in an accident.

And risk of catalytic converter theft. :sawzall:

I'm not really a "there's an app for that" sort of guy, but there's an app for that.
    Fuelly
I use it to track all the fuel on the 911 and the Tundra. Shows trends in fuel cost, fuel economy, and there's the ability to make notes at each fill-up.
And I'm using the free version. Every month or two it prompts me to upgrade, but I'm getting everything I need right now.

Corolla mileage could, and has been better. I pushed that little car yesterday when I left the intersection, and ran the AC some.

I try to fill up every 100 miles on the buell, since it only holds 3.7 gallons, and it doesnt have a gas gauge. Usually have to get change for a $5.

forgot what everone else has to pay for gas. Usually between 1.5-1.7 gallons.

Mine seems to range from 28-32mpg no matter what I do. Your gas is cheap, best I can get lately is $3.60 on the Rez.

A few weeks ago, it was $25 cheaper for me to completely fill my truck in AZ than it was back at home.

Hole-lee. I thought fuel prices were based on standard of living for the area. I know CA is expensive because nonsense, but at $3.60 id be building a completely different rig.

Damn thing still ran like a bat out of hell going 30 miles each evening down I55 from mphs int to hernando. Passed the hell out of folks and then when I came to a hill they all passed me back
