Final Update on JBA Shorty Headers: Reported on the low end torques being nicely around town. She really likes opening up in the 50+mph range, too. There is a certain sweet spot that wasn’t there before on familiar highway drives.

Anyone know if the vacuum hoses around the evap canister are specified in the FSM or not?

Mine are dried up and always slipping off. I’m not sure I need to pull out a micrometer and start measuring ID values or just buy an assortment of metric hoses (I.e. 4mm,5mm,6mm,…etc).

Sizes are not listed. Dealer could get part numbers. But that’s it

I have Spec’d these out already in terms of Part#’s. Let me know what you find out in terms of sizes. As you know, some of these have special bends in them that are hard to replicate. I added in some various Hose Clamps on my list for grins.

Thank you . It was just easier to clean the original fabric and use vinyl and fabric paint. After a few days use a fabric Condition to soften it back up .

Yeah. I remember my 87 Toy P/u with cap. The cab was the bench style seat with no back seats. Felt like I was going to go Berzerk sometimes without the ability to throw shtuff back there. :annoyed:

Access Cab helped me gain sanity back.

Yeah. Those are the Programme Prices, too. Haven't ordered yet.

That list should be ALL the Vacuum Hoses under the hood. I threw in the extra clamps because ours never came with them except that one hose.

You may be able to do what I did. On some of the cracked hose ends you can cut them back to clean. After that you can Zip Tie all of the hose ends which isn’t as nice a Toy Spring Clamp, but still works to keep them from slipping off. I used the HD Zips made for High Heat from big box in electrical aisle.

Have em tape a trash bag over that side of the truck, or use a tarp.

I maybe a slight boo boo long ago were I was the only one with the keys one day. Driving something else out of state. Left the windows down.

I had pops tape trash bags over the windows. Stayed dry until I returned.

I went through the thread about window leaks here, I likely have gunk or debris clogging something up thats causing a leak into the floorboard as there have been torrential rains over the last few months and my truck has been mostly parked under a tree since I've left. Frustrating af

IMG_20210614_074524.jpg Mornin' everyone. I crawled under the rear of the truck today just to visually inspect the overall condition and prepare to change out the diff fluid and found the parking brake cable routed like this. Dropped it down and adjusted the tension. Also noticed the seal on top of the steering rack is weeping where the steering shaft enters. Obviously going to have to address this issue when time permits. Working 6 days a week isn't allowing for time to do any of the the things I want to do right now, so I have a 6k dust magnet sitting in the driveway. Haha!

Haha, I had the wife search for something in the 03 while FaceTiming me and she found a wet spot behind the back seat. I’m betting it’s the sliding rear window drain. Also parked under a tree while deployed…I feel your pain.

Drove to San Diego and back on a tank of gas. Added up to 364 miles with the AC on both ways, scangauge said 16.5 mpg for the tank, I filled up just above 22 gallons and calculated 16.6 mpg. Not bad at all.

While awaiting for paint shop to finish door handles and other items, did some maintenance on driver door. Removed door lock and window regulator, cleaned old grease and applied MP grease to sliding and rotating parts. Replaced door plastic and mucked up black adhesive with 3M windo-weld ribbon sealer(5/16' round bead)

Yeah. Leaf Jank/Sludge builds up in that track and blocks those weep holes in the hidden gutter system.
