Put some driving time into her last light. The new Side Mirror Flasher Signals are awesome. The Newer Style $37 Katanas Headlights worked nicely. This is the first night driving I’ve done in months so it was a pleasure to see all the goodies come together.

Realized its been a while since checking the tire air pressures. 3 are sitting at 39 but the 4th front pass side was 29. Looked for nails/punctures but all seems good. Filled it up to 39 and will have this on the PHM radar for the next week or so.

Still don't understand what Toyota was thinking with the recommended PSI. 26/29 I think? I'm running at 33 all around right now.

My Michelin E-Rateds Specify ‘up to 60psi’ on the tires

I tried it and the truck rode like a horse wagon without shocks. I’ve experimented with 32psi, but felt like I was behind and pushing the tire bubble/bulge. 39psi for me is the best.

With stock tires it works. But anything we’re running around 35 is better

Even on stock tires it seemed low to me as well. Maybe on the smaller tires or p rated it would be okay.

Here is a sound deadening foam block (free from packaging) wrapped in Butyl Rubber that I fabbed up to put inside the doors. Regular foam (left) wrapped in big box Butyl Rubber (right). Two of these are stuffed in each front door lower sill and stuck/secured with more Butyl.

Shoot, I run 45PSI in my Kumhos. They’re p-rated though.
What size spacer and tires? I really like that stance.

Man your truck is looking so much better. Make sure you protect those rust free panels before the next winter.

Yep, I fluid filmed the insides and undersides of everything before I installed it.

it’s truly amazing how far it’s come. I’ve polished this turd to a shine!

Spidertrax 1.25 spacers (got em for a smoking deal on Amazon last week) and 265/70/17 falken at3. I want to move up to 285 but it's easier and cheaper to get 265's. I'm only adding 2" of lift so I think the ones I have now will fit well. Going to try out the milestar patagonias m/t for down in Margaritaville (Mexico) this winter. If I get 25k out of them I'll be stoked. The mt's will add a little road noise but will be fun on the trails down there.

    Anyone run the patagonias?

If you come thru T Town let’s meet up.

a guy on the local offroad club(they actually wheel) seems to have good reviews of them so far.

Word man, not sure where we'll cross yet but Arizona is a viable option and could very well be a good decision for a little desert dwelling before we head south. I've heard great things about the patagonias just not on a tundra. At $550 for a set of 4 I'm pretty much all in. Sure they wear faster but it's a thousand plus for big name tires that go 10k or so miles further...

Do you plan on using any additives to your gasoline down in Mex, or do you find the truck runs good with the Pemex?

Lol I'm not sure yet, I will be bringing down a case of seafoam for both my truck and the boat. Gas sucks in mex but they do sell a higher octane "rojo" but I'll also pack a new fuel filter and a lucky rabbits foot. My boat runs ok down there, I do have to do fuel system tune ups often however. Part of the game

I’ve heard lots of great things about the patagonias. In fact, they’re on my short list of tires to put on next.

Installed white led in door switch.
20200726_213449.jpg Installed new denso ignition coils. Checked resistance, and were in spec. Have not checked old ones yet. New Toy OEM plug wires which were also in spec. Replaced my middle of the week duralast plug wires because I couldn't wait for new ones at the time. 20200726_213438.jpg

I'd stay away from centric. I had the pads snap on me before install, and one of em didn't have the hardware stud thingy.

I'm not well versed in A/C shenanigans, but have you checked the clutch on it? Maybe it's not fully engaging?
