Fragile means the shipper didn't pack it correctly.

That’s why it needs a biohazard sign under it so the carrier knows the consequences. Maybe slap a “World Health Organization” sticker as well to give it some validity.

There's actually a protocol for Biohazards. Depending on the hazmat code, it may be refused.

Better to just pack things properly.

Trimmed some plastic on the front, rough cuts for now, fasteners need to be redone and rethought out, the passenger side is definitely goofy because the washer resi is right there, but so far I think it looks a lot better. 58296E00-4E77-4B9A-B0EA-5299D224D51A.jpg3606D329-C079-4A0C-893B-04B0160839E9.jpg166B9D5F-F7BE-42B5-9A37-FC19D484D7D7.jpg
That big opening to the upper left of the washer resi is right where the air intake is……. I might put some mesh or something there for dust reasons

I'm a little surprised. I couldn't tell any difference when I installed my new MAF. I guess my old one must not have been too dirty.

I'm really disappointed in myself for not looking more closely at it before cleaning. Has me wondering if there was a chunk of fluff or something on one of the sensors in the sleeve. Doesn't make any sense otherwise, unless it's acting this way because the ECM hasn't relearned, and it'll go back to normal after a few dozen miles.

Did you reset your ECM after installing the new MAF, or remove a batt cable during install?

I had a CEL with code for MAF sensor but engine was running fine. I've never had it out before in 230K miles. Cleaned the MAF and the throttle body with TB cleaner spray. Can't say I noticed any difference but CEL light went away.

That washer tank can be relocated. I believe your air compressor is in the location I moved mine to. @alb1k installed a smaller aftermarket tank, easier to relocate.

Yeah not sure if I’m to worried about it’s location as of now, I’ll be adding in another tube that will basically cover/protect it. It’s just a crappy area to try and make look nice and seal out some dust, I might need to go full snorkel

I didn't. That sucks, makes me think I probably should do that and give a chance to relearn. ECM was probably using values it learned with dirty MAF and fuel/ox ratio was different, but ECM treating it the same. But I would've expected it to bog, less air in the cylinder to run richer though, not pep up, and feel leaner.

I missed the leaf post. You did a whole new leaf pack? General springs or...?

Like a leaf in the wind!
I did archive HD springs with their hammer hangers and shackles. I haven’t put a full tank or loaded it down to much, but it feels great, almost like a rear sway bar was added from the controllability that it has now

The Pic just loaded on my tablet. Looks great! What's up with those bump stops? I like those a lot better than the OEM ones I stole from the V6. How was the Ubolt flip?

It was a task all in all doing it in my driveway by myself but nothing terrible like headers. Yeah those are wheeler super bumps maybe? Haven’t slammed it hard enough to feel them yet

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit I know. I've done it three times!

Original remove OEM leafs from the silver truck, and reinstall alcans.
2nd time remove alcan leaf springs from the silver truck, and reinstall OEM leafs from 2 years ago....

Third time, remove oem from crackie, and install alcans from the silver truck. LOL

    Repetition is paying off.
Today: Remove/replace both ends of the leaf springs and shackles, new inner sleeves on the front bushings, greasable bolts added to both ends of the leaf packs, greased 10 bushing sets and oiled the unibals.
    Remove/replace both motor mounts
Remove/replace pass side #2 body mount

I think your bumps are pretty easy to remove to make cutting the bolts easier. Time for a re-torque as well I imagine.

Body mounts a pita? I saw a post somewhere where they were chasing a noise ended up being the body mounts.

@alb1k Doesn’t experience rust in South Cali so the mount bolts probably came out easy peasy.

I’ve got the porta-band out, maybe I’ll make quick work if it fits in there
