Same here. Water leaked under the rubber seal and made it's way across the track and into the carpet. Now the question I have is how to get rid of the smell?

Are you sure that leak isn’t coming down from the clogged higher window track and rolling around that lower vent?

Those sound reducers covers can be removed from the ‘vents’. Pull the covers off. Lightly clean the flanges and caulk them if they are leaking.

Remove back seat (4 bolts?) and clean with a deodorizer if its bad. My smell wasn’t too bad and it disappeared over time without cleaning once the leak was resolved.

Water should flow out like this from a hidden gutter track between the cab and rear window trim flange. This is by design.

3” lift, black step bars, aftermarket wheels, LT305/55R20 was this way when I brought it.
Do you have a sunroof, if so do you use it much? If so there are drains that get clogged and the water can work it’s way into the cab. Just a thought

Looks like I spoke to soon. I think I fixed one of my problems by sealing the window but clearly I have more than one leak because after sitting in the rain I came out to a wet floor again this afternoon. I will tackle it this weekend and take some pic's. I will not be defeated.

Many times caulking exacerbates the problem as it causes a damming effect. In your case you should go back to square one and let the gutter system work as designed. It is possible you have another leak, but I’ve seen caulking cause a dam and make it worse.

You were right. I unclogged my drain holes with compressed air and it is fixed. Thanks for the help!!

Can you link this fix you’re talking about? I’m having a leaking problem in the same areas in my 2008 Crew Cab.

This forum, and this thread are entirely dedicated to 1st gen trucks; any info he's referencing or we're discussing in this thread is specific to 2000-2006 trucks. PHM was a 1st gen driver. Totally diff't platform from your '08.

Do you 2nd gen guys have a helpful water leak thread like we do? https://www.tundras.com/threads/definitive-2000-2006-cab-area-rain-water-leak-thread.70464/

Thank you for that. I usually check to make sure I’m in the right form but have “trigger fingers” right now researching this.
