    UPDATE: FRAC (FRONT/REAR ANYTIME CAMERA)

Okay, so I tried out the front camera offroad at Prairie City. I've got to say it is very useful. Exactly what I was hoping to get from this system. I wasn't buying this for help with parking, it was always in the hopes of seeing obstacles while wheeling. Especially cresting a hill. Normally you get to the top of a hill and just pray there isn't a huge boulder on the other side. Now you can clearly see if there's anything there. Or when you make a tight right hand turn on a tight trail and can't really see over your hood. I just pretty much left the front camera on the entire day and found myself using it all day long. Going to say this is a must for anyone out on the trails.

    Here's where to get one...
Now Taking Orders - @TundraTex Front/Rear Anytime Camera (FRAC) Harness

    Thanks again @TundraTex

Does the camera actually give you an idea of how big that boulder is from a far? Or does it kinda look flat like how cameras take away form the obstacle compared to what we see?

Most of the time it was just seeing that it was clear. I'm pretty sure if you came up to a boulder big enough to give you a problem, you would definitely notice it's size on the screen.

@sdhq_offroad should be getting rear springs in today... I believe. I'm hoping I'll get atleast the fronts on in the next couple of weeks, this wait is killing me.

Me too. I'm going to be the only one without the FRAC when we going wheeling. Everyone is just going to be cruising along and I'm going to have keep asking for someone to stop and spot me. As if I wasn't already far enough behind on mods. Oh well, at least I have sliders now.

That was sand not mud :p. What's funny is that I was following Joon and he pulled off to the right like he chickened out. Me being the idiot that I am kept going straight. So to answer your question, maybe the FRAC does help avoid getting buried.

And then a bunch of cursing.

Well that might have been the best sales pitch ever. I guess the FRAC is moving up the list.

TC long travel. Deaver 420 SU leaf packs.
I found it very useful but not so good in muddy water, it just kinda looked like a nightmare that a plumber might have when using a camera. The camera still functions flawlessly after a complete submersion. I know Joon's was completely under water too.

Nice build! I love the stance, this is what my truck wants to look like when it's all grown up.

How do you like that tonneau with the bikes in the back? I've been looking at the bakindustries covers which I've seen advertised as working with bikes, but they still say you need a wheel chock. I'd rather not have to use one of those.

@joonbug I noticed your rear is lifted pretty high, is it because of the toytec extended length rear shocks or the 1.5" shackles ?
what does toytec means by "extended " length ?

Rears shocks don't provide lift so must be the shackles. Extended length means it can be used for higher lift applications like 6"+

The extended length means that you will have a little more of a extended travel when articulating off road.

Thanks bud. Yeah, that’s why I bought a retractable tonneau, really makes it easier loading my bikes. I’m not sure how the Bak Industries are but my canister is angled at the bottom so the front wheel almost touches the front of the bed. I just use a small block of wood in between the bed and the tire most of the time. Sometimes when I’m lazy, I just press the wheel up against the canister. It bends in a little but seems ok. But canister size matters, especially if you have a Crewmax.

When I got to the litter box, I turned off. Jena says "why aren't you going through that?" I said, "There's no way I'll make it through that... only an idiot would try to go through that."
