We don't get much fog here in S FL lol but it bothers me they aren't working. I have the old halogen bulbs somewhere amongst all the other old parts I kept when I replaced just about everything exterior. I don't recall ever trying the fog lights when I first got the truck before it went in for its rejuvenation.

If you have the oval fog light switch you need to get the adapter harness @daveeasa makes.
    Link
Makes the fogs operate of the parking light circuit so they don't cause any issues with headlights.

Have a story to share. The shop I used to install my SOS Performance Brakes, Wheels, Tires, Coilovers etc.. told me they posted a picture on social media to guess what make, model, year vehicle the brakes were installed on. They were offering a free T-Shirt for the winner. Whoop t do. Well, here's
    the picture they posted.[IMG]

I have later learned that calipers on the front of the rotors
are unique and as of recently, no one has guessed so far.

The brakes you’d have to pay for, but it sounds like you just have to figure out where to submit, and you could have a T-shirt! :)

I haven't really tested them yet but they feel right. I don't have ABS so braking is a sensitive topic

This is tempting. I'm going to need to do a series of quick 750-1000 mile oil changes to try and de-varnish/de-crustify things. I hadn't decided on which oil I was going to go with. Was leaning toward non-syn (for cost reasons) and something known for loosening up caked on varnish. But I'd been leaning in the Rotella vein.

EDIT: Damn. Only applies to fully syn products. *sigh*

So I put that gen 2 bypass kit on mommas 2008 Sequioa, and I cleared the codes on it by disconnecting the battery while I was installing it.

Immediate codes upon first start up. Followed the directions to a T.

I know this isn't 2nd gen, nor do you guys have utmost expertise with them, but I trust you fuckers. It's now saying something like the circuit is low.

What bypass kit did you use? Does she have the 4.7 or 5.7?

4.7L I used the Hewitt tech gen 2 bypass that attaches to both switching valves, and installed the block off plates at the switching valves.

Sometimes those codes can be stored differently and a battery cable pull won't clear them. Can you clear them with your code reader?

I cleared them with my code reader, and they came right back as soon as I was heavy on the gas. (Hard acceleration)

All these issues with SAIS bypass. If/when it happens to me, I think I may just replace the SAIS.

Too bad someone doesn't make a unit that plugs in where the SAIS was so you can just get rid of it entirely with something that won't croak for another decade or two.

But then again, maybe that part is just another SAIS....
