I need to upgrade. I have an ice machine at work and I can pack this Coleman where it'll last two days... but that about it. I'm a huge Pelican fan. I'd be down for a Pelican group buy.

yep bank account is running low from it..
X2 pelican or go home... Sorry the yetis are not all that great..

For you yeti fans do some history on the cooler you will find deep in its roots it's really a knock off cooler and it was copied from other manufacture I believe Coleman? Don't quote me on it.

A lot of interesting info here on coolers on this thread. I was checking out the Yeti Tundra 65 and 75 yesterday. I could have purchased a new Yeti 75 in tan for $403 OTD or the Yeti 65 for $365 OTD at my local Outdoor store. I also have been watching Craigslist for used Yeti coolers.

There are a few listed now and then, but they move fast.
    Here is a 65qt-
    https://greenville.craigslist.org/for/6114386102.html
    Another -
    https://greenville.craigslist.org/for/6112640092.html

Honestly I baulk at spending 3 or 4 Benji's for a blow molded 2" foam filled cooler that will likely sit more than I may use it regardless of where it's made.
Surely Yeti has made a crazy fortune on the these.

Even though I have many of their products, I look at yeti stuff now the same as throwing 500 rigid light bars and light cubes all over a mall crawler. I have their products because when I bought them, that's all that was available.

Lots of equivalent if not better options available now.

Guys- Yeti is redesigning their soft sided cooler called the "Hopper". Right now Academy Surplus Stores here in Texas has the original Hoppers for more than 50% off!!! I have the Hopper 30 and love it. I paid 349 for it, the currrent Academy price is $150! I also have the Yeti Tundra (Couldn't help it with a name like Tundra). I've had it for 5 years. I take it to the beach on weekends and never add ice over 3 days.

For the sake of hard earned money, do not buy an RTIC soft side. Everything else they make is great, just not the soft sides. I have a Yeti 65, great cooler. Wish I didn't have to pay what I did. At the time the RTIC equivalent was on back order 3 months. I literally live 5 minutes from their warehouse in Houston and no one could get one when they found out how comparable they are.

Got Yeti ramblers, then came Rtic and Ozark. All good in my book, proven to hold ice about the same..Then got Yeti Tundra 65. Love it. Need to get a smaller one as the big guy is kinda hard to lug around and doesn't fit in my old ski boat very well...holds ice well and it tough enough for the stuff I do. I would also consider Rtic, but I have a buddy that can get 40% off on Yeti so its a horse a piece.

Three Yetis--20, 50 & 110 and I absolutely love all of them (except for the big'un when it's full:eek:). I originally bought the 50 in 2010 or '11 to use in the cargo basket on the back of my Jeep. I liked that so much that I later picked up a 105 to carry in the bed of my Tacoma.

After I decided I was getting too damn old to be climbing in/out of an RTT to pee at night, I sold it and picked up a pop-up trailer. That was all well and good, except that the 105 was too wide to fit through the trailer's doorway, so I sold it on CL and picked up the 110. Even though it's technically larger, the dimensions are different as it was designed specifically for the rafting folks to fit in their cooler/seat spot.

I picked up the 20 a couple years ago to carry on the quad for trail rides, plus it's a great beer cooler for camping. I just keep the beer stock stashed beneath my trailer, then reload the cooler in the morning when the beer's at its coldest. Add a fresh chunk of ice to the cold water that's left in the cooler from the night before and I'm ready to go for another day.

The only issue I have with any of them is the dogawful weight of the 110 when it's full. I would load it in the kitchen, then blow a nut getting it to the garage. Once there, I used a furniture dolly to wheel it out to the street to load into the trailer. Fortunately I own a bigger trailer with a fridge/freezer now, so no longer even use the 110 any more, but I'm sure I'll come up with future uses for it.

As I don't pre-chill my reefer before leaving home, I use the 50 now as a temporary freezer until the trailer's is ready. By placing 2, 10lb blocks at either end of the cooler, then stuffing my frozen meats between/on top of them, then topping that with a 20lb bag of cubes, shit'll stay hard frozen for days in summer heat.

So yeah, I'm a fan.

I have a couple of YETIs and I want those stickers because I totally agree with the whole elitist douche culture that gravitates torward the brand. It's literally a plastic box with foam in the middle and people act like it's some proof of noble bloodiline into white trash royalty.

OtterBox is releasing a cooler soon if it has not already. They claim it is rated to hold ice for 2 weeks. Looks pricey thought.

I'm cheap but willing to pay some shipping on the right price. I might even send you some pre-chilled reefer from the first state to wreck prohibition

Got my Engel 35 in today, here she is on top of my Yeti 65. According to a few YouTube videos the Engel is supposed to out perform the Yeti. As far as size goes I'm not comparing apples to apples but my Yeti is my dedicated beer cooler that's never empty and never leaves where it sits, the Engel will be my travel companion.

I have had a Yeti 65 for a couple years now and i freaking love it i would love to have a few more in different sizes. I use mine for 7 day hunting trips to keep my meat, eggs etc. Cold and very rarely have to add ice to it if at all. They are expensive but i think its worth it. It saves me driving back into town to get ice which is a good 30 plus mile trip when im hunting.

I bought it on eBay. The Buy It Now price was $178 with best offer option. I offered $160 and he accepted. It was brand new in box. Engel has it offered on their website on sale for $199 normally $269.

If I was in the market for anything, I might consider it! Since I live where gambling, whoring, hard liquor in every corner gas station, and now weed are all legal, there ain't much I can't get right here! :D
