    Are they really that great?

If so, has anyone seen a great deal or willing to sell theirs?

I'm currently running the COSTCO look alike but not its acting like one

We sell them at the place I work. Finally broke down and bought one a couple weeks ago. Took it golfing on a tuesday, opened it back up on a saturday and it was still full of ice. Problem is, all the beer was gone lol.

    They're the real deal.

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on Rtic. Don't think I can wait for @BlueFalconActual to go to the Philippines.

People that I know that have Yeti's love them.

I don't know anyone with an Rtic.

I don't have either. Wish I could be more help, haha.

I love my YETIs but there is no way I'd pay retail for them. I bought my 75 and my roadie for like 250 for the both of them if I remember correctly. I'd get an RTIC in a heartbeat if I were in the market.

Yeti coolers rock. Use mine out here in the desert all the time. Yeti tumbler for your beer is perfect addition to your yeti cooler keeps my beer ice cold at the lake on a 110 degree day.

I used my Tundra 75 when I was in the field in Okinawa last year. It was over 100 degrees and it still had ice in it at the end of the week. They are pretty amazing, but very $$$.
I use my 32 ounce Yeti bottle daily. 8 ice cubes will last all day even if I refil it with water.

That's the thing, they are pretty indestructible so people won't sell them for much less than what they paid for them.
Seems like everything named Tundra is bulletproof with crazy resale value.

They're both the real deal if you want to pay the price. For me, my Igloo 96? is enough as most of the time I can reload every day. If you're away from ice for a few days, Yeti, Rtic, Icytech and other high end and high price may be worth it. I did win this
    https://www.rticcoolers.com/shop/coolers/softpak/RTIC-SoftPak-20-Grey
in a company Christmas party raffle, $100 retail. Wouldn't be worth it to me to pay for but is really badass. Kept beer overnight poolside at my house with 95F high and 85F low.

I've never had the luxury of using a high end cooler, but I did learn how to keep food ice cold in a good old Colman for 3 or 4 summer days last year. The secret is "salt ice", it takes a long time to freeze, but we had beer slushies the first two days, since it also thaws at a colder temperature, and keep the cooler temperature colder. The salt ice also has a higher specific gravity, so it "stores more cold" than regular ice. I used a couple old 5L jugs with about a pound of pickling salt in each, then filled with water.

That's why I tell everyone that I love my YETIs, but they probably aren't worth the price that they want for them on the retail market.
