The pelican I got was like $240. It was about $100 less than equivalent yeti.

@joonbug I misspoke. Mines a 65. Wouldn't be the first time I said something was bigger than it actually was. :anonymous:

Just looked at the rtic coolers. They look good. Same features as yeti and pelican but they have same rubber hasps as yeti. Eventually they'll dry out and rot.

I think I'm leaning towards the pelican with wheels. I have a bunch of girls and I always have to carry everything myself.

Joon, you'll love it. One thing to remember is when you drain the water, crack open the top. Otherwise it creates a vacuum and it's a bitch to open.

Oh, where there's no water right now? With our terrible winter precipitation that sucker is gonna be dry soon. It's pretty low here near me too. I'm not far from the headwaters and the snow pack is what feeds it down there. This has been the least amount of snow in like 12 years

We have one yeti 65, an orca 20, 26, 40, and 58...plus several of the tumblers. They really do keep ice a long time. My brother sells Orca's in his store so that's why I have the orcas.

No, it's great here. W the dams. It averages 8-15 ft deep. About 150 yards wide. From imperial dam you can go about 75 miles north to the next dam. Lots of water skiing, sand bars to hang out on, coves. Waters about 80 degrees, air is 115. Good times. Search- Martinez lake, fishers landing.
    25 minutes from home.

Orcas look good too. Hard to spend that much on a cooler until you do. Well worth the investment.

So these would be best purchased from the factory right? No other places/centers in Philippines?

That's where we got ours. I didn't go to the factory myself. Our higher ups went for us.

OP, I have the Tundra 65 from Yeti in the tan color. Definitely no complaints about it aside from the price tag. I used it all the time when I used to ride motocross, now I only use it when I go camping or out to the lake.. Which isn't as often as I wish it could be
Recently when we moved I used it as a stool to hang stuff up on the walls in our new place

I picked up a Rtic 65 in tan when they were on close out for around $100. Going to order the new model 45 soon. Same performance as a yeti but half the cost.

I have the Ozark trail 20 and 30 ounce tumblers, they work great but I seldom use them

I'm a Pelican man. The latches are so much nicer. And they have wheels on some of the larger ones. Group buy would be nice

I have 3 different ones, an Rtic, Yeti and an Engel. All 3 hold ice the same and all 3 are equally durable. I use them for 5 day fishing trips I go on with the family.Tempe up to about 100 or so here in Az/UT at Lake Powell and Havasu. The Rtic is tan and I believe the tan gets hotter than the white does.

I have a Pelican 35 in OD Green. Beast. Looks awesome. Heavy. But a beast. I also have a Yeti Roadie 20, and the Yeti Hopper. The Pelican holds ice longer (6/7 days). Yetis 4 or 5.

Yes, Pelican latches are legit. Yeti are rubber thick tarp straps essentially. And will dry rot. I have both brands. Like my Pelican better.
