Yes. Regular good ole weather stripping. My AVS vent visors came with decent weather stripping but I still went down to Home Depot and got 3M and used it.

Pelican 50? I just sold my Pelican 35, and bought a Yeti Tundra 75 - Gander Mountain going out of business, got a nice deal. I really liked the Pelican, but it was too small for anything big, and too big to lug around with one arm.

So I’m debating between an orca and an Engel 75-80 qt. Orca because of lifetime warranty and ice retention. And Engel because of same plus size is a bit smaller. Can anyone chime in with opinions/experiences?

I like my orca 40 (i purchased) better than the yeti 20's i have (they were free). Ive heard good things about engel.

Made in usa, the warranty and ruggedness sold me on orca. They are big (true to size) and heavy though.

I really like the yeti hopper two 30 i have. Almost wish i had bought the 20 instead due to the size, but it does hold a lot.

I just sold my Pelican 35qt and bought a 65qt Yeti. Loved the Pelican but it is a little big for the size it actually holds, plus I got a hell of a deal during Memorial day using my military discount.

I miss my Yeti. I bit more pricey than some of the competition but build quality is superior. My Sub Z keeps food chilled just fine when properly prepped but not quite as good as my old Yeti. I'm super skeptical when I hear claims about how much "better" other Yeti "knock offs" are. Roto molding tech is the same for all coolers now. Comes down to quality of materials. Most high end coolers today perform well when properly prepped for long term food preservation. Emphasis on food preservation not keeping beer cold.

No offense most of all of them suck because their warranty sucks. If I’m paying around $300 for whatever brand for a cooler, I better be getting a solid or even lifetime warranty. This is the reason I chose orca for their lifetime warranty mainly. And engel for their 10 year warranty. Yeti, 5 year is crap and RTIC is worst at 1 year warranty, seriously RTIC??? $300 for a cooler and you give a 1 year warranty.... I’m paying $300 for a cooler not a phone, it better last and you better back it up with a warranty. I can’t see myself buying a cooler for $300 then something happens after the 1 year warranty and I have to spend another $300 for another cooler. No thanks!

My 2007 Tundra had a 3 year warranty. 11 years old now and not too worried. My old Yeti had the 5 year warranty. Not too many moving parts on a cooler. Had my Yeti almost 9 years and used it a lot before it got stolen and it looked and performed like day one. If Dodge RAM had a lifetime warranty I still wouldn't buy that piece of crap.

Just got a yeti 45 for fathers day. It's the charcoal one.. l love the look and feels so solid.. brought it to the beach a couple days ago and has sit in my garage the last two days with it being 100 out. At the beach the kids kept opening it and wife didnt close it a couple times.. with that I still had ice in it today and the beer and water were still ice cold.. I'm going to try to prep it next time i use it.. like it a lot so far.. wish it was a lil bigger though

I returned the 20 and just use the big one all the time. Keep wanting to get one of the soft Pelican coolers to keep inside the truck.

Mine was the 45. Was OK for me. They can be a bit heavy at the size and up.

We used yetis over seas..... They worked extremely well! At temps being @ 115°+ and feeling like 125°+ we didn't have to replace the ice constantly, and they were being opened a lot because of get water in and out and throwing other drinks in too all day long. I say they worth it. A regular cooler you couldn't get the same performance
