All trucks leave the factory "standard". Factories do not do any customization. The trucks then go to a port, for instance for Florida which falls in the South East region it goes to a location in Jacksonville FL or Commerce GA. This is for all vehicles distributed to dealers in FL, GA, NC, SC, AL.
Here they decide to add options before they send it on to the dealers. Then when it gets to the dealer, they might decide to add more options. These modifications are noted on the yellow sticker since it modifies the gross vehicle weight that is noted on the factory vehicle VIN sticker in the driver door jam.
These options would include bed liners, step bars, XSP package etc.

It would be greet if it noted what the mods were so questions like this don’t happen.

SR5 and TRD are factory issued - These are standard models and not considered upgrades or modifications, such as the mods done at the port or dealer. Any TRD related add-ons above a base model will not be included in the yellow sticker.

Agreed. My wife's car has a yellow sticker for 3 lbs added. Probably the rubber floor mat in the trunk, because that is all that did not seem standard. Kind of ridiculous at that point.
