Congrats on becoming 3/4 of a Tundra owner!! :D

Just kidding, real trucks run on 6 cylinders after all. They only sold regular cab V6 Tundras up here in Canada, so wasn’t even an option for me. I’d have looked at the idea if they were available in a DC.

Post some pics of that beast, under hood shot too if you don’t mind.

About eight months ago, I was debating between the 4.6 and 5.7. I was coming from a 4.0 V6 4Runner. I really enjoyed my 4Runner, but I had (at the time) never, ever owned a V8. Yes, fuel was going to cost more, but knowing that I could pull whatever I want, as well as the higher resale value, I was hellbent on a V8. My wife said "you're 49 years old. Just get what you really want this time". 5.7L and eight months later.... so happy. Some nights, I just walk out to the driveway to look at it again. Just asking if you'd "regret it", says that deep down, you know you will. I had a buddy who always went the practical route, and lived his life full of regrets. Just get what you really want or you WILL REGRET IT!!
