Worst oil change experience ever

    That aluminum one looks good, I strongly believe if it aint broke don't fix it, but I may need to suddenly "break" and replace my plastic one....

    Happy to report that so far so good. After installing the OEM filter housing cap and filter, the oil leaks/weeping have disappeared. I'll monitor it for a few more weeks to make sure it's all good. My advice to anyone planning on doing an oil change. If you have the plastic housing, I'd consider just replacing it with the aluminum one just so you don't run into my issue.

    You have a part # for the OEM aluminum cap housing?

    I never even both with that little cover and Only remove the Whole Housing - wear gloves and no mess on hands - EZ peasy. O Ring does not need much tightening to do seal so just a snug will do it. Luck all.

    I had the metal, switched back to the hard plastic. If you buy one remember you have to switch stem out.

    Toyota #15620-31060 is for the aluminum housing, As stated be sure to transfer over the longer center tube to the new aluminum housing..
