I bought these winjet tail lights and the wiring harness didn't connect. Do I need to do any modifications or just somehow they sent the wrong ones? Order label says there correct. I'm unsure.

I sent mine back after being on my truck for 2 days. Called their support # and they sent me a fedex ship label thru my email. I purchased from protuninglab not Amazon.

Fitment was aweful. 1/4 inch gap on top and nearly rubbing the paint on the bottom. My left side had condensation/water in it after 2 days on the truck. I didn't seal these myself before installing, nor will I. They advertise these as "presicion fit & waterproof" right on the webpage you order off.

Was also concerned they just aren't bright enough for people from behind to see the brake and turn signals on a sunny day. Mine were the clear glossy black. Maybe the smoked or red tinted lenses were better. I sure hope so.

As far as hooking them up goes, they are plug & play. The 3rd connection needs to reuse your backup bulb from your stocker taillights or you buy led bulb from them. The other 2 leads should plug straight in from your stock tails.

They do look cool. But I found form, fit, and function flat out unacceptable. I'm happy with my stocker tails.

I'm glad for you. You got a decent set and I'm sure quality control is all over the board on these.

Mine even had flashing around the edges that wasn't trimmed properly, nor was the "gate" trimmed flush on the front lens cover, when it came out of the mold at the press.

Also noticed the 2 alignment pins that help center the light on the truck on the winjet lights are tapped and screwed in by hand after the part is molded. If these aren't centered and put in at the proper angle fitment will be, and on mine was compromised.

The 2 alignment pins on the stocker lenses are molded into the back taillight housings at the press.

These are $200 made in china taillights. You might get a good pair with 0 issue. But at that price quality control on these is slim to nonexistent. They can't scrap out much and still make money.

Are you taking the harness off with each of the bulbs on your Tundra? Or just pulling the bulbs out?

The turn signal / brake light connection has to have the harness pulled off with the bulb. There is a clip on the side you need to push and it will release. This then plugs into the winjet taillight. You can't cross the leads because 1 is much bigger than the other.

Running light bulb same thing. Pull harness off with the bulb left in it.

Once you have the harness off these 2 leads that is what plugs into the winjet.

The third lead, which is the backup bulb is the only 1 you leave the bulb in because there aren't any backup led lights in the winjet taillight. You either use your existing bulb, or buy an led to plug into it.

I've had mine nearly a year. Zero problems and I love the way they look. They fit perfectly and were plug and play.

I'm sorry you guys aren't having the same experience.

I've had 'em for more than a year with no issues. I'm glad there weren't reviews like this to read before I purchased, I'd never have gotten 'em. As it is, I'm quite happy with 'em. I'm sorry they didn't work out for you guys.

That sucks.. I guess the silver lining is that if they were only installed for a day you should be able to get a refund or replacement pretty easily.

Mine are still working 100% after over a year of owning them. Sucks that their QC appears to be kind of spotty.

1505524143011.jpg Mine left a small gap around them. Looking at it, the side prongs are longer than the ones on the stock, which seems to be the problem. That said, they look awesome. I like the look of them better than I do the Anzos or Recons, and they are half the price. The styling in these are very sharp. I'm going to try and trim the prongs down a little and see if that helps. I was hoping to just swap the prongs out from the stock lights, but they oem ones aren't removable.
I saw where another guy just removed the prongs and mounted them that way. He said they fit perfectly after that, but I'm not sure it's a good idea to not have anything at all holding them in on the sides.
I agree that you shouldn't have to modify them at all, but since I actually like these better than the better brands, I'll try to make them work. If not, I'll wait a while and get a more quality brand.

    Still rocking the stock height.
Sorry that you are having problems with them. These are the ones that I have been looking at to get. I think that I may still get them and hope for the best.
