LED Brake & Rear Turn but No Parking Lights

Ladies and Gents, I installed some CANBUS LEDs (Sylvania Super Bright) in my rear brake and turn signals. While the brake lights and turn signals work when you push the brake pedal and activate the turn signal, the parking lights don’t come on in the rear of the truck.

Any of you lighting experts know why this might be?

 

Did you get the "CK" compatible LEDs? If they are not CK compatible then I think that might be the issue.

 

Edumacate me: what is CK?

That’s what it is then, mine are not CK just 3157’s. I’ll have to get the CK version instead. Thanks for your replies guys!!!!

 

Too funny!!! I bought same LED lights Sylvania ZEVO super bright LED from AutoZone i tried em same issue..brakes work no parking..flip LED light around.. parking work no brakes.. emailed sylvania...we have CK socket they told me mail back ones i bought with receipt...they refunded me and sent me a unpackaged set of CK socket and brake and parking lights work

 

Also i bought the Sylvania ZEVO super bright LED 921 turn signal for rear u need the resistor for both left n right the lights are white but i used a small metal pick and pluck off clear lens n used red sharpie marked inside n out of clear lens same for high mount stop light as well

 

Sylvania says they (CK Socket) will slowly make ther way to the market

 

Maybe I’ll try that. I wondered what the “CK” stood for, now I know. Sometimes I do things tha hard way.

 

Same here didn't wana pay $40 for one bulb off vleds I'm happy with Slys Zevos

Thank you all for telling me I had the wrong LED. You said I needed a “CK” bulb and I got them and they work great.
