Here is a before and after.

I forgot to take another picture after I bent the tab even more. But I was able to get needle nose pliers in there and bend the tab completely flat.

As a side note, I put some foam in between my headliner and the sheet metal by my passenger side sun visor just to be sure. I haven’t heard any rattles since!

    Thanks everyone for the help!

You don't need a TIS subscription. Just use AllData DIY or Mitchell 1 DIY, they have the same exact docs the OEM do but the subscription is meant for owners instead of shops.

They're cheap too. A year is like $60 for full access to all docs on the vehicle. I have both, AllData is easier to navigate but Mitchell 1 has much better (they interactive) wiring diagrams.

First post ever on this forum for me, going to contribute my experience as this thread has been super helpful for me.

After experiencing the sunvisor rattle / tapping noise I've had for a year of owning this truck, I followed the advice described and found a very tacky substance holding in wires above the headliner. When I touch and release the substance it makes a very similar sound to what I've been hearing. I still went ahead and removed the clips + glue on both the driver and passenger side as described in this thread, but also taped the heck over every tacky substance and added weather strips everywhere that makes contact with anything. Also added some foam in between white A-pillar trim clips that hold the trim piece in as described in some other threads (linked here).

Also I found this youtube video of a tech dropping a 22+ tundra headliner to be helpful:

    Here's some photos of my process if anyone's interested!IMG_6342.jpg IMG_6344.jpg IMG_6346.jpg

great job! I have this on my 2025 with the pano, right above dr side ( where my head is) driving me nuts already. As others have said, if i press on it or tug on edge of headliner slightly it stops. I will be trying to remedy this coming weekend
