Does anyone know the part number for the "Toyota" grill emblem that would fit a grill insert like this? Toying around with the idea of going this route.

They should provide it with the grill.

Thats the one. The original price was $160 shipped, but after speaking with them they reduced the price to $125 shipped. So there may be room to haggle.

They had evidently sold one to someone with an ‘07-‘09 and were under the assumption that this insert doesn’t fit US trucks. I told them that ‘07-‘09 grilles are different than ‘10-‘13 grilles. This insert should fit ‘10-‘13 grilles (pictured in post #25). They have since updated their description to reflect this. There are two other sellers on Alibaba with the same grille but their prices were higher.

This looks like a cheaper option for us 07-09 guys then the full Sequoia grille swap. I sent an inquiry on Alibaba. Now I need to buy a 2010 grille surround and have it painted silver.

Also I’m not seeing a part for the bulge? I guess the factory black piece is ok.

Oh that sucks cuz I have an '08. But the grill looks exactly like the '08s.

    BTW the link doesn't work.

Usually Alibaba ships in quantities, did you have someone else buy one?

Im very interested in this grille. It has the updated look of the new sequoia grille without the big gap at the bottom. If the quality is good, it might be a better option.

Pasting the link worked but that grill is not the same as the one pictured in post # 25. Sure the center is but it's still missing the amber lights.

BTW, what exactly is different between the '07-'09 and '10-'13 grilles?

Oh, and does the grill in your link come with the "Toyota" emblem?

The grille I ordered does not come with the lights, which I wasn’t planning on using even if it did. Pretty sure you can order them separately and they snap in place. Otherwise it’s exactly the same grille as post #25.

‘07-‘09 grilles have a slightly thicker surround with the same outside dimensions, so the insert is a bit smaller. Look closely at an early 2nd gen and a late second gen truck and you will see it. It’s obvious once you are looking for it.

I am told the Toyota emblem is included. I will report back when I receive it.

i suspect the issue is that you are posting a mobile link? idk. but it took me a while to find the same thing on the non mobile site, so i figured id post it here.

i suspect that they dont show the toyota emblem because it would be an issue with trademarks. im going to contact them and see if i can get the same deal. bummed that it doesnt include the orange lights though. i might see if the aliexpress grill option will price match.

here is the link to the aliexpress one.

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001874069590.html

great price, till you add $101 shipping, lol.

my only reason for going for an aftermarket grill is so i can add dual row leds behind the grill. the factory one looks like it will only allow a single row led bar.

Last night I calculated the cost to convert to Sequoia headlight & grill. Are you kidding me? Screw that!

And people say the Alpharex Nova Series is expensive. HA!

I’m afraid so? There may be a way around it but I’m unaware...if there is?
Still way cheaper than the OEM TRD PRO grille. I paid $470... But damn it really brings the front end back to life!

Exactly what I was thinking. If inserts are slightly smaller I'm sure there's an easy fix. But like I said...gonna wait for one of you guys first. LOL

I've ordered tons of stuff on aliexpress. Never had problems and when there were issues they always sided with me. Just my experience. Also ordered my android 10.2" display radio from aliexpress with no issues. Owner worked with me with no issues. I actually was trying to get a group deal for the tundra forum on the android radio but the owner said she could only offer like 5% discount since the price was so inexpensive. In any case, there are shady sellers on any e commerce site. Just when you order, be mindful of the number of reviews or type of products they sell.

Same experience. Had one minor issue out of 20-30 orders. The minor issue got taken care of beyond my expectations.
