Will this grill fit?

This looks like it would fit in place of the factory insert on my 2008, but I thought I'd check with the experts first...

Be careful with AliExpress, I've heard horror stories from not getting products to issues with making returns.

 

Run away from AliExpress as fast as you can.

Tried to buy some slingshot ammo. It didn't arrive, I filed a complaint and they banned my account and IP, so I couldn't escalate it or dispute it. They sided with the seller immediately and blocked me.

It was only $5. So I couldn't imagine what they would do if you filed a complaint for an item worth a few bucks.

It was a $5 lesson learned and I'm glad that's all it was.

That's odd, I bought an amplifier on AliExpress that only made half of its rated power. I filed a dispute and posted a video taking the measurements. I asked for half my money back since I got half of what I paid for, and AliExpress sided with me.

I buy off AliExpress 2-3 times a month, and the other minor issues I have had have all been taken care of appropriately by the sellers, however said sellers were enormous e-commerce shops and not this zero feedback seller that's offering this particular item.

That website has always looked shady to me, I would never consider ordering anything from there. I would also be surprised if they sold a single item that didn't come from China.

 

The 84-year-old man across the street from me says the same thing about Amazon. Alibaba is publicly traded on the NYSE and sold 42 billion dollars worth of goods last year. Yes, it's all Chinese made, it just makes 1+ fewer stops on its way to your front door.

 

Then go for it. Let us know how it works out.

I based my post on personal experience, first hand. As for me, I'd rather take my chances with a forum vendor or Amazon with their return policy.

this is a nice insert imo. it would look nice on my 2012. has raptor lights too. OP let us know when you get it and post pictures.

 

How much is that insert? Couldn’t find it on AliExpress. Looks great.

 

About $200 shipped with the logo insert. I think I'll TOFTT on pay day and order one.

I’ve bought at least 100 items from aliexpress. They have a guarantee (similar to eBay) in the even that your item doesn’t make it. I will say this though, it will take a while to get here with Covid. My grill came from a company on alibaba and I couldn’t be happier. Just my .02 though

Do you really want the orange lights? If not, I would go with MCautoparts instead, they have a 5% discount right now if you sign up for emails. MCauto code. probably have much less issues with it in case you have questions/returns.
