The Mesquite brown and Army Green were my top two color picks. The Army Green arrived first.

It's a nice color but I think it will become dated over time. After all Tundras last for ever!!

I love bronze tone colors but think I am in a small group. When I bought my 2008 2500 there was a brownstone color I wanted but the closest one was 1000 miles from the house. It ended up being a one year color that was pretty rare bird to see; I saw one 2500 in that color on the roads over the years. I think the mesquite could go that way and you end up with a vehicle you will not see many of on the road

Other than the fact that I love the color, that’s the reason I want Smoked Mesquite. I like having a truck that’s not a dime a dozen. I like the look of Silverados but you see 100s of the same color and trim level on the road. I have owned a Tundra since 2006. I enjoy not seeing a bunch that look like mine. I was hooked on Blue Streak Metallic and Blue Pearl or whatever the exact name is. I would buy that color again if it were offered. Now I’m hooked on Smoked Mesquite.

Part of reason switched from Ram to a Tundra. Ram used to have 15+ colors now you see the herds of the black, gray, silver and red ones everywhere you go. Must days around my town I see 1 new tundras at most yet to see an Army Green one in a month I have owned it

Congrats and welcome to the team! Its and awesome color. I get so many people that comment how well they like it. And it pairs well with saddle tan or cream interior. You can't go wrong!

I wanted smoked mesquite as well, they are definitely rare color, only saw like 5 in my state vs others had dozens to hundreds of other colors.

They are a hard sell, one person may catch the sun hit the paint and see all the metallic flake in it, another may see it on a cloudy no sunlight day and say you bought dog shit.

In other words, I realized no matter what I would say to friends, look at in this light - they will always say you bought brown - color of shit, and your dumbass don't realize sun goes down daily and then your driving poop color lol

Any time I’m not in direct sunlight people think the truck of black. I think the relative subtlety of the color will allow it to age well and not look dated in the future.

I'm looking at next year but THIS is the color I want! 1794 Hybrid.

Unfortunately, idiot dealers and their ADP/ADM are denting my joy at the moment. Watching you guys with envy... I feel like one of the uncool kids not allowed to go play with the others, nose pressed to the glass... :D

Mesquite is my fav color, then inferno orange and I have a black Tundra now. But, where we live there are dirt roads and 46" of rain a year which of course includes plenty of mud so my next truck will probably be white as I hate cleaning the truck every other day!

I am happy with my 2022 1794 wind chill pearl, but before I bought it I drove this 2013 Platinum in smoked mesquite. It is an eye-popping color, immediately caught my attention sitting there on a display corner at the dealership. I might have bought it, it was an exceedingly well-kept truck with 85,000 miles. Unfortunately, the first owner must have been a smoker, and there is just no getting rid of that odor.

I have a 2014 Limited in Mesquite and am waiting for a 2023 1794 in Mesquite to be delivered. I can't tell you how many people have told me my 2014 was a really nice looking truck. I've seen very few dogturdbrown Tundras in my area and I like having a rare color.

I 100% would have taken Mesquite had it been available in the Platinum trim when I purchased. That’s the best color in my opinion.

I can’t take credit for that. That’s what it looked like when I picked it up today. That’s the beauty of Smoked Mesquite.

    None yet ;-)
I have a 1794 coming in Mesquite and went through this thread hoping someone had aftermarket RWL tires on stock rims.
Any chance someone has tried this, or are Raised White Letters no longer in vogue these days?
