been talking with David and looking at putting the Eibach kit on my 2018 Tundra.

Just wanted to get some input from people that had the lift, and ask some questions about UCA’s, tire size, etc...

I’ve seen so much about the BOSS kit, but it’s 50% more and I’m not sure I can stomach it...

I upgraded to the 2.5” Toytec Radflo kit. Love it. Don’t think you can go wrong with the eibach Coilovers though.

I just got them on about a month ago with toytech shackles on highest setting. Love them. Also did bmc chop as precautionary measure but will be running 295/70/18 on my method bronze roost when stock tires run low. Kept a little rake. Debated between Bilstein 6112s, 5100s all around, and toytech eibach. I will definitely be getting the rear trd sway bar soon as well. Love the lift and of course Darren from boss 4x4 hooked me up with a great deal .super nice guy and even replied to my messages with questions on the install during the weekend.

Great info, thank you. I’ll start commenting in there, but looks like I might need to look into shims. Might not be necessary on a brand new truck, but good to know that I need to measure

Man I wish you already had those tires! I’m planning on running an 18” wheel, and want to hear about people experiences with different tires.

Sorry but wifey is a little perturbed about all the mods so tires will be the last. From all I researched on the forum 295/70/18 is the max without bmc chop but I did it anyways .

Don't have the Eibach's but have only heard great reviews. ToyTec pricing is quite right. OME isn't much more. Worth considering too.

I’m just going to order the Eibach lift. Anyone using shims on the drivers side? I’m sure it’s a case my case basis, but wanted to figure it out before I order, and I’ve already sent David like 10 messages, so trying to find out here first.

I have the Eibach from @Toytec Lifts (my thread that @T-Rex266 referenced) and didn’t use shims. This kit has been great for me with excellent ride quality!

Looks great. Very interested to see the look when the tires get on there. Did you do shackles or blocks? And do you think you’re going to have to do the BMC?

    Thanks for posting!

That picture you uploaded makes it look like the rear is lifted a lot higher than the front... that’s the only reason I ask. But I’m doing the shackles on the 1.5” as well. Really eager to see pics when you get new tires.

I run the Eibach one shim on drivers side for lean, TC UCA's, CB +2 shackles on rear with 295/70/18 Cooper ST Maxx. Love the stance and Ride.

Good looking truck! How did you decide if you needed a shim? Do I need to go out and measure mine center of hub to opening in wheel well to see if I need one?

Probably need to let David know if I need one before he ships the lift out tomorrow.

    Thanks

    Thanks!

Yes measure and see if your truck has a lean. I ordered mine from David with the Eibach kit and they installed/built it into the driver side coil-over.

Please update when you have the new tires, I am thinking of that size, curious if you will be able to keep the front mudflaps.

Eibach/Toytec coilovers here. There is another thread around here that is pretty extensive. I love them.
-2 CB shims on the drivers side coil have leveled the truck side-to-side perfectly. My truck has 70k on it, so my lean was in full tilt. You're new and may have little or no lean currently. Measure all 4 corners from the edge of the fender to the center of the wheel. If either distance on the drivers side is less than the corresponding passenger side then you would benefit from at least 1 shim on the top of the drivers side coilover.
-Tuff Country add-a-leaf in the rear. Good option if you'll be towing or hauling. Otherwise I'd say shackles. Stay away from blocks.
-I have the fronts paired with JBA upper control arms.

I've been running this setup since last october-ish...? Zero issues, great ride on and off road. Tow frequently, off road randomly, daily drive sometimes.

Icon 17 rebounds, total chaos UCA's, general grapplers 35's, corsa exhaust chopped, fox 2.5 DSC coilovers, DAP, white knuckle sliders, voodoo bed rack, baja lights everywhere, VLEDS, bedslide, C4 front bumper, warn winch, victory high hitch with dual swing out rear bumper
Same kit here no complaints, also running with toytec rear shackles on highest setting with total chaos UCA's and front diff drop. I am running method 20x9 with toyo at 305/55/20 no body chop mount needed, just had to trim and push the plastic up a bit. Daily driver and occasionally off road planning more trips soon.IMG_0951.jpg

I have the Eibach coilovers here and love them. I also have a 2" block in the rear with the rear Toytec Boss Shocks. The truck rides awesome. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their stock shocks. I'm running 33x12.50x20 Toyo M/T's. I also have the SPC UCA's to get everything nice and aligned.

Thanks. Those panels were part of the XSP-X package.
