Yeah...missing the 4 beers you're supposed to have with the toast.

Wife left that little detail out didn't she? Figures.

You tried fried okra? Good stuff. Fried eggplant isn't too bad either. The rest of the stuff, I agree.

Ok, here is my thing with okra. I find it disgusting , but with that being said, I also love spicy cajun creole hot food. The hotter the better. Made some kick ass jambalaya with okra. The only time i will tolerate okra is in jambaylaya. Damn good recipe.

This is universally true. It's like saying "water is wet."

I enjoy it when its homemade. My sister in law particularly makes it well. She uses the everything but the bagel seasoning fairly heavy and light on the salt. I admit when I sleep at her house and smell that in the morning I get happy.

I make versions of it at home. I prefer a scrambled egg with entirely too much pepper on it. I also throw in some chopped bacon and occasionally a little sprinkle of cheddar.

I wouldn't pay for it at a restaurant though, and seeing what some pay for it is obscene. Prior to covid, I always recall one particular young lady who ordered avocado toast. She was jn line right behind me with her boss who was definitely not having an affair with her (according to him). They both ordered it. They both watched it get cooked, and when she grabbed hers she threw a fit because the egg wasn't runny. "It isn't good if the egg isn't runny!" Her boss offered to trade her, his egg was runny, she declined. He offered to have them make another, she declined. She never told them make the egg runny, and watched them cook it step by step. She really just wanted something to complain about, and her boss tried to console her as if they were definitely not having an affair. That almost ruined avocado toast for me.

As far as the popularity, I don't know. I've put avocado on my toast/eggs since childhood, mainly because I had the tree in my yard and we ate it with everything.

You weren't asking me, but being the internet and all I am obliged to blurt out and interject my opinion. I prefer pickled okra to fried.

    TS is doing it wrong.
For a man to truly enjoy avocado toast you first have to start your day by meditating for an hour with a perfect man-bun, slip on your blundtstone boots while giving double middle fingers to the man. Trading off the Tundra for a Prius is a great start too :D

As long as it is hot pickled okra. Use to get cases of it shipped to me in Afghanistan.

We all like different things so I dont understand what the deal is really?

I love me some Avocado in and with a lot of things but I do not drink Milk ever.

I also can not stand seasoned chips or snacks of any kind that I have tried to date.

Love Broccoli but want to puke with Cauliflower.

Love carrots but can not stand when cooked.

Dont think that brands me too much either?

Oh and not even sure what Avocado Toast is?

I can hardly argue with this sound logic.

It is true, lots of science behind it. Doesn't mean there is a linear relationship across all subjects between the amount of milk consumed and cup size. But milk does drive oestrogen in human males, which decreases testosterone and increases feminine traits. This might manifest in larger breasts, smaller balls, or softer erections, or none of the above in some men, but the science is clear that it drives estrogen.

    Eating beef is A-OK though!

    https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19496976/

Avocadoes, on the other hand, do not increase estrogen. Avocado toast > milk for masculinity.

It's all goood brotha. Everyone's got some kind of kitchen mishap story or they aren't trying.

I get a big 8 or 10 inch chef's knife and nice, firm whack perpendicular to the seed to seat it. Twist and voila.

At least I chew my toast into the shape of a gun, point it at The Cat and go "pew pew pew!"
