I went through credit union. 2.6. When dealer saw my rate they just said go with that we can't even begin to match.
Always get a rate from credit union or bank before seeing a dealer. As a matter of fact get both.
    Lesson learnt for me.

By the way. Anything else they try to sell you....say no...ask a good person in credit union they will give you some invaluable info...even write off protection is best from CU

Even if he has already signed, you have 30 days to back out. At least in Arkansas you do.

Take your contract over to a credit union and they will buy the contract at a much lower apr cause damn that's high especially on a truck that price

Assuming that is true in Arkansas, that is unique. I am not aware of any other such lenient cooling off period anywhere else.

You are right. I just looked it up to double-check myself. Sorry about misinforming.

Might be mistaken but I think you need 6-12 months under your belt before you can refinance.

I dealer financed my 17 Pro for 5.5% with zero down (I wanted to take it home that day). Then sold my FJ to an individual, and refinanced through a local credit union with the cash down from the FJ for 2.5% before my first payment was due.

i too got a 1.9% from my credit union. Dealership would have been above 5%
