Dirtydeeds, could you pm me with your recommendation's for a BD system. I have a 2017 Double Cab with the 5.7 motor. It is 4x4. I don't really do a whole lot of wheeling and most of the performance stuff is stock.

    None. Keeping this one stock.
On the hypertech, make sure you have the correct Cam sensor hooked up to it. Instructions tell you if you are using an aftermarket intake, to use one or the other. And dump the ECU by battery disconnect.

So what your saying is that the BD tuner works with stock or s&b intakes but not k&n afe volant or any other type of cai?

What are the pros for going with the BD tuner? What’s the true HP/TQ Numbers once the BD tune is in place.

I missed the part about the intake. It should work with it but could throw po101 due to mass air meter calibration.

    It gains 3-10hp 10-20tq on a dynojet

But more importantly it makes the truck drive the way that you want it to drive. You get options you wouldn’t otherwise have. So while the numbers aren’t a big deal on paper, the way your truck drives is as if has double the gains.

Unfortunately not really. You can use a Hypertech and it actually makes the truck more fun to drive. But it gets a check engine light.

Is Bully dog still the best tuner for a 15 Tundra? Looking to do both a tuner and a new exhaust.

Yessir. Bullydog is the best all around tuner.

Now that HPtuners is able to tune a tundra they’re the best, but a BullyDog is still way more convenient.
