I bought a used 2005 tundra 2 door 8 ft bed. (I think they call that access cab?) Anyways been ordering parts and fixing it up. I cannot find out what the passenger door handle part is called, or where to order a replacement.

Please see the attached photo for what I am talking about. Guess someone ripped it right off of there at some point in the past. Anyway I am the new owner and bringing it back to it's proper glory. Any help is appreciated! Glad to own a Tundra!

Well, you're probably not going to like how much it costs if you can buy it from Toyota separately. (I remember this recent thread for dbl cabs, but htat's a different part)

We can try to tell you the right part but the reality is, to get the right color you'll want to use the parts lookup system at the very top of this post: https://www.tundras.com/threads/howto-use-the-toyota-parts-system-to-find-order-parts.113808/

After you plug your VIN into search and submit, you'll find it in the "Body and interior" section, then search the page for "Armrest and Visor". Heed the instructions in that thread ^^ for how to track your part, i.e. RH = right hand, LH = left hand etc. Click "Open full size scheme" under the picture to see it in large version, then click on the number for the part you want. You don't need to order it at their site, go to https://autoparts.toyota.com to purchase online at discount for pickup at the local dealership.

And if you need to replace the trim around the pull handle, that's in the "Body and interior" section, then search the page for "Front door lock and handle", there's also a few misc parts under "Front door glass and panel".

Using that system should give you EXACT part numbers for your specific make/model/year/interior color/etc. But always verify your part first.

Oh .... and DO NOT buy OEM parts on scAmazon or fleaBay. Too many knockoff parts that look authentic but aren't. And only buy OEM latches/mechanisms/anything mechanical, because the aftermarket parts are known to fail and leave you with doors you can't open.

PS - it's not too bad. I was curious what mine cost for my truck. Autoparts.Toyota.com has an MSRP of $68, but when I click on one of my three local dealerships, they'll discount it to $47 if I order online. In-person pickup is probably $75 if I order from the parts counter.

PSS - check this out if you haven't already, it actually points to that parts lookup tool and has other stuff you need to know as a new owner, assuming you haven't seen it yet: https://www.tundras.com/threads/so-you-wanna-buy-just-bought-a-1st-gen-tundra-eh.115928/

When this happened to me I got this part from McGeorge (now Ourisman):

74630-0C010-B2 Pull Handle $45.89. B2 is my color code.

I noticed that the PO had attempted to repair it with RTV, which apparently lasted for the ~ 4 years I've owned my truck
