What vinyl is that? I'm planning on doing something very similar with the hood, with the additional of the center filled in with matte black, and extending it onto the roof and rear spoiler. I bought a 25ft roll of VViVID+ Stealth medium pattern camouflage in ghost metal, but I thought it was a little to metallic for the Lunar Rock color.

Very nice. Unfortunately, Ballistic Fabrication store is closed. I guess they are out of business.

Lol! I had asked how much it would be for full ppf as opposed to just the front and I told them I’m fine with just the front for now haha

I'm guessing 3-4 grand. I've heard it cost as much as a new paint job.

I had Xpel put on, they pretty much did the whole front 2.5' on the hood, headlights, bumper, lower valance and the front quarter panels for just over 1K.
Toyota has been know for easy front chipping so getting this done was a no brainer.

For full vehicle ppf, it’s more than that actually. For trucks a lot of times they do a double layer

There are certain times when the sun hits the hood on the area that tilts toward the windshield and its brutal. I’ve wondered if adding a matte type wrap there would help that?

I had my hood matted out with a topo map pattern on my my Tacoma when I had it. It made a world of difference, plus I thought it looked cool.

Idk how you sr5 guys do it. These things are so crude. Cab shakes like crazy and the tiny screen is pretty much useless, need tweezers to use the volume knob.

I had never ridden in a yota with the 14” screen until my mom bought a new ‘24 limited sequoia. Getting back in my ‘22 sr5 with the small screen made me immediately look up how easy/expensive it’d be to swap lol. Build quality definitely improved over 2 years, but I still love my truck

Was your current engine running fine? Do you know the build date on your truck? How did they let you know your engine was in, via the app or did they call?

Truck ran fine. I posted all my oil analysis reports in our report thread. 11/21 build date. I have a really good relationship with my service advisor and she let me know she had ordered my engine about 2 months ago...then that it was in but I was like 10 of 15. Then today she called and asked if I could drop it off by end of day so they could start working on it tomorrow.

Good things are coming your way Eddie, and from what I have been reading here you will feel a difference in engine response, even if you didn't have problems before hand.
    All the best,cheers:thumbsup:

Cab shake? I can't imagine that being normal across all SR5's. How many miles on your loaner? More likely, a typical loaner/rental that's been rode hard/put away wet and/or beaten like a red-headed step-child. :deadhorse:

Doubt it's been abused. It's a 2024 with 2,200 miles. Maybe it's the lack of hydraulic cab mounts, but this thing definitely shakes a lot more compared to my Platinum

    Fair enough.
Did not know there was a difference in cab mount design between trims.

Do you have a picture of your hood graphics? Truck looks awesome! Have you seen the front vent lights they have now from "Yota Expedition"? Those would look great on your truck. 20250218_173317.jpg
