What is the upkeep on a vinyl wrap? Been thinking about doing it, but none of the vinyl places around here will answer emails!!!

[UPDATE] I found the intake I needed through a local forum member. Thanks @ssmokedz !

[Original] Anyone with a supercharger still have their original 5.7 intake manifold laying around?

I need one for the replacement engine I'm putting in my truck. The salvage yard broke the one on the replacement engine I bought and the inside of my original is coated in oil and the "glitter of death".

Check out the carnage through the intake runner. I see a valve without the valve stem turned sideways, a mangled compression ring and a chunk of the piston on the right side and a broken valve guide on the left.

Loaded the driveshaft assembly into the trunk of our car, to take it to Paducah to have it rebuilt.....after waiting for over a week for my Amazon delivery of wrong sized u-joints.

Finally got around to installing my Valhalla cat shields. They’ve been sitting in a pile since July…feels nice to have them on. Swallowed my pride and had my indy shop throw them on. Wasn’t cheap, but better than sitting in a pile for another 6 months.

Also road tripped from MN to CO for thanksgiving. Here’s a shot in the fog.

Haha, I’ve been trying out the Nokian LT3s studded as well. Been getting alot of looks from people walking recently as one of the few vehicles able to drive in neighborhood streets with sheet ice (we don’t have many plow trucks here lol). It’s a good tire when you park and step outside and immediately fall down.

Bad steering rack or bad steering rack bushings? If it is just bushings will cost you less to replace them than the complete rack.

Rack bushings can be done with the rack in the truck, with some patience or by a shop who is willing to try it. They are not replaceable parts according to Toyota. Energy suspension makes poly bushings. There is a helpful thread around here somewhere..

    Edit: https://www.tundras.com/threads/anyone-replacing-their-steering-rack-bushings-w-35s.61354/

Be sure to secure your steering wheel to center. You will definitely jostle things around as you work including moving the rack. It was easy to lose track of what was center. I had to use my obd tool with my home to find 0° of steering again.

Sorry I don’t have one. Are you trying to see the bumper itself or the design of the swing out?

Primarily the bumper. Have a few more home projects lined up, but then it'll be onto building the big powder coat oven and designing tube armor. The simplicity of the long wrap-around caught my eye.

I was $940 with tax out the door. I believe it was approx. $310 in parts and the rest was labor.

I haven’t done anything TO my tundra today but I did something for him/her/it.

I bought a winch on sale.
Also bought a “winch kit” that includes snatch block, tree saver, winch gloves, napalm, random straps, heavy chains.

can’t wait to bash some stuff
