After quickly solving my power to console problem, I decided to use the matte clear paint I bought months ago to get rid of the shifter gate glare.

Talk about nostalgia, ahem in my younger days since now I'm old as crap.

I ran around with Zapco amplifiers, preamps pushing four ten inch subs from Orion. Also ran with MBQuart's components on the doors. I had a 90's 4Runner, that I had completely modified to compete in the Iasca's circuit. the cool feature was I had the components mounted in the roof with a motorized amp rack and custom fiberglass door panels. I can tell you I spent many hours in my garage tinkering and tuning. To this day that part of me still continues, just not as much as I would like haha. Just wish I hadn't lost most of my pictures in a past storm we had.

On a better note, I did end up selling my truck to neighbors kid. His dad was a POS, and did nothing for him. He saved up through college, and ended up on his spare time working with me. Took him under my wing and taught him what I could about the hobby. To this day he still reaches out to me. He's now with a family of his own, and teaching his kids the same.

I just purchased a one owner , low miles (37k) 2016 TRD off road Crewmax. I’d like to change the grill, and the bulge to color match. What is involved ordering one? Do I need anything besides the grill?

also want new headlights, thanks for all y’all’s help. Glad to be back in a Tundra..

Congrats on the truck. The grill and surround can't be ordered separately. Not sure what color truck you have, but if it's a darker color, the fading might be more noticeable when you bolt on the new parts - not discouragement, just noting. I have ten left thumbs for fingers, and I got them changed in about 1.5 hours. On the headlights, if you're going with LEDs, I believe you'll need the iHacker harness. Good luck!

I haven't started the wiring setup yet, but I could see that from the instructions. I didn't expect a totally isolated setup including additional door sensors. But definitely I love them, looks great, high quality, and are very useful specially when you have kids and a lifted truck.

If you have issues, let me know. I did much of the install at night which probably didn't help things lol. You'll run the main part of the harness underneath the carpet. I have the control box underneath my back seat sitting right behind my sub box.

We're renovating two bathrooms, so I hauled ~1000 lbs of tile for one of the two. Was too gunshy to get the remaining ~1200 lbs for the other bathroom, so I'll be doing that tomorrow morning.

I know it wouldn't be advisable, but I feel like I could have got it all in one load. The truck handled it easily and didn't struggle at all going up and downhill.

Finally removed the factory skid and installed my RCI engine skid. Had to make some mods first and cut off the front lip and trim the corners back to make room for the incoming CBI Baja bumper that should be here hopefully sometime next month. Full armor underneath now.

Not a fan of the new truck, but kudos on the old school rims. Good look.
