What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Yes. That's where I got the inspiration from, but Toyota was the first to come out with this Quicksand color theme. Now even the Chevy Trail Boss has one exactly like this color.

 

I was just testing it to see if it'll match with truck.

 

Heat taped my CAI intake tube. Looks good. Hope it helps reduce intake air temps. The tube was HOT after being ran a bit.

 

what were your before temps? w/ the stock intake, my temps are only 1-3*F over ambient temps, whether its 0*F or 100*F outside. Seems that airbox would actually cause higher intake temps that stock setup, no?

 

Got my RCI diff skid yesterday. I put It on today. It wasn’t too bad to install. Even though it’s hot and humid. The RC foam matt made it more comfortable crawling around on the ground. The matt made it nice to lay on for the photos too. I’m happy with it. Next skid will be for the gas tank.

 

RCI said they would send a notice and tracking number when shipped. I never got it. The box just showed up on the porch. It took about 3 1/2 weeks. I’m not complaining, just saying it was within their current lead time of 2-4 weeks. Hopefully they have a Labor Day sale so I can order the gas tank skid.

 

You will need the straps too. I like the Victory skid better.

 

Went to Crater of the Diamonds last weekend. Another 1,000+ mile trip. Our 3rd since May.

I had to look on Victory web. I didn’t know they made a 26 gallon. They say it’s frame mounted. It looks like RCI isn’t. So I assume Victory would be stronger. Victory is a little more $. Decisions, decisions.

 

Finally got some new shoes for the truck. 275/70/18 Faulkner wildpeak at3w’s

 

Installed the AJT chrome shifter / cupholder delete and the Teton Workshop shifter.
Definitely looks better without the chrome.

 

Now degloss the shifter lettering.

 

I haven’t seen that done. Time to do a little research.

Maintenance day -- took it to the dealership.

Oil and Filter change
Transmission Flush
Front & Rear Diff change (2nd change on 5.29's - 1 year since I had them installed - Lucas 85w-140)
Transfer Case change
New Battery

Everything knocked out as I take it in august to get supercharged.

 

Much better, definitely going to do it once the humidity goes down.

 

Dammit….. I just noticed that your rear window switch is relocated. That is definitely on the list as well.

 

Don't look at my build thread then lol.

Just found the harness, now I’m looking for a switch panel, that will give me an excuse to do the Front / Rear camera.
