Super tempted to add this to my to-do list. Holster + easy knife, flashlight, multi-tool spot would be a very nice to have feature.

I’ve never seen that before. Maybe something accidentally left behind during manufacturing? Don’t look like anything that would come off the gearing.

Just picked up new factory bed tie downs locally for $30. Going to mount my spare inside the canopy in preparation for my high clearance rear bumper, when I actually order it haha.

TRD Pro is based off the Limited trim starting with the 2019 model, but does not have BSM or parking assist (sonar) as an option.
I added BSM to mine and knew sonar was a possibility. I had someone reach out and ask to pay me to add them both to his TRD Pro - he wasn’t comfortable with tackling it himself. I did the install in September, but the sonar system wasn’t functioning at all. Since then, I added it to my truck to troubleshoot the full install and function, and then came back down to TX finish the installation on the other truck to fulfill my commitment to get it working.

Couldn't find a decent plastic trim removal tool last minute, but a small plastic putty knife did the trick (didn't want a slotted screwdriver marring things up):

It seems someone got Armor All or something on the clear plastic:
This gauge cluster plastic has been bothering me for my month of ownership. I'll probably try wet-sanding it, but I'm open to suggestions. Something like $70 seems a bit steep for a new replacement.

The real reason for all of this is that I want to make sure it's all fully cleaned out inside the dash and air vents from mice, then I'll be installing mesh screen to keep them out. I'm going to see if I can sandwich is between the body sheet metal and the plastic intake vent. I'll be painting the silver and chrome trim. Then there's this noise that comes sometimes on startup and about a minute after shut down (possibly blender door actuator):

You can look sideways at that lens cover and it will scratch. I’d probably just buy the replacement…

    What kit is this?

I may end up ordering a new lens, that’ll be easy to change out later. Also, I may upgrade to a later model gauge cluster too, so we’ll see.

I’m still liking mine. They are just convenient not having to reach around to grab handle.

Try Barez Auto Parts in Calgary, they had a 2013 Platinum that I just bought some parts from.....403-604-4175

Most times that is too expensive if shipped into Canada.......we get raped on duties and brokerage fees. The only way a US supplied shipment works for us is if we ship to a USA address then go pick it up.

    Cheers

I did the hot tails because I like the natural OEM look best. The hot tails are insanely bright, and I love the amber switchbacks instead of the brake light as the turn signal. Reverse is like the sun being beamed behind you. Highly recommend it.

Yeah, one time I paid the better part of $200 on duties for a leather satchel, which wasn’t much more than $200 itself. Got the bill after the fact.

As for the parts, 2013s have a different gauge cluster.

TRD upgrade headlights in, waiting on 2014 harness. TRD grill ordered (with MMG hood bump and surround), figured I replace while replacing the headlights! Looking forward to the new look. Been stock (except for the predator steps and bed cover) since new in 2014!
