Nice! Wife and I are planning next years trip and will probably do Ocracoke with the kiddos next year. It’s either that or Corolla.

Excellent! We come out every year at minimum once and maybe more now. We need to get up to the north side of the Outer Banks. Haven’t explored that area yet.

Decided to remove the TRD decals on the rear to match the rest of the truck. I should’ve taken them off a long time ago!

Not "What have <I> done to <my> 2.5 gen Tundra today" but "What will I do"...picking up the shocks on Monday (I saved an additional 5% off the Sparks price below by using the ROBMOTIVE discount code), hopefully Ekstrom will deliver late this week, and MAY be able to install next weekend. If not, hopefully the weekend after. Not sure if Ekstrom is going through supply chain issues on any of the items I ordered. My OEM Limited shocks have given up the ghost at 75K miles, and I'm ready to move to the grown-ups' club by getting rid of my 2.5" Pro Comp spacers. I may put them up in the marketplace, even though I might not have any bites. I'll definitely be selling my SDHQ shackles...they provide .75" of rear lift, and in combination with the spacers, I got the overall lift I wanted and maintained factory rake for 3 years. I've really enjoyed the set-up and it was a cheap option to get the lift I wanted since I was broke when I bought the truck :angrygirl:, but now I want to do some more aggressive off-roading, and have been skeered up to this point with the spacers. I didn't buy the whole Coachbuilder TRD Pro Kit since I already had the bump stop extensions, and I'm going to wait until I get my new 17" rims and 35" tires a few months down the road to determine if I need the bumper shim kit. I have 34.1" tires on my truck right now (275/65R20), and I think 35's will still clear the front portion of the fender well since I removed the little air dam, so I MIGHT not need the bumper shim kit, just might need to mold the fender liner with a heat gun. We'll see. Not looking forward to removing the factory bushings from the rear leaf spring eyelets...:sawzall:

@TomC843 why don't you make a road trip on over to Moncks Corner and help me install everything? :help:

    Y'all have a great rest-of-the-weekend!!

thank you. I went back and forth on location, a lot. I try to follow a “drill as few holes as possible” guide to mods. This fit the bill.

Fronts took forever. We put the coilovers on the wrong side so the stickers are upside down but got new stickers on the way from king lol.

Installed the snailarmor tailgate panel. I like this one more than the mountainhatch one as I think the metal will hold up better, and I worry about the heat in AZ ruining the
    plastic.

    doggo for company.

In between taking the winter cover off the pool, vacuuming the accumulated winter junk from said pool, power washing the cover for storage, power washing the pool deck and putting up the gazebo, I managed to pull up the bezel, unplug the switch and put in the new driver side switch assembly. My SR5 had "auto down" and that was it. No "auto up" and no lights. This switch has auto up and down for the driver window and lights up. I'd give it a .03 wrenches on the 1-3 "how hard is it to install" scale.

Snug top. happy with the fit and finish. I will say the back windows don’t open much ( good enough IMO ) but I don’t carry dogs so it wasn’t a deal breaker for me.

Added some drivebright led puddle lights under the mirrors in place of the stock dim yellow lights. Much brighter and an easy 5 min or less install per side. First photo is comparison of stock versus led light pods; 2nd is stock light on passenger side; 3rd is led on driver side

Changing jobs on Thursday (going to TTC main campus) but sounds like you got a couple weeks. I have no experience with suspension but know how tools work.

Thanks! Added to my list of wants and needs. Gouged two chunks out of my tailgate a couple weeks ago pushing an old piano out of the bed. How is the weight of this thing? I'm guessing it will probably negate most of my tailgates dampening which is fine.
