My display (2020) says Tank average - how did you get it to show "Trip average"? Now I am headed out to try and see if I can find that setting...

Installed the Desert Shield catalytic theft plate. Install was easy and he has them in stock. Now I will fab an extension for the rear ones.

Does anyone know if we can re-learn the TPMS with Techstream or at least get the sensor serial numbers? The shop that did the install said I need to come back Monday so they could dismount one of the tires that their autel machine couldn’t pickup on the serial number. They said the sensor could be junk, I don’t think it is. The system says malfunction and to see dealer.

Thanks. I was hoping it wasn’t bad. Should I replace just the 1, or all 4? Is it okay to go aftermarket or should I spend $65 each on the OEM’s? I noticed Toyotas site lists one for the spare too, is that a thing? I’ve never noticed a pressure listed on the spare on the display.

Should be able to, but shouldn’t be any different than what the tire shop does with their system

Just replace the one, and I’d go OEM. I’d also try to get it done under warranty unless you’re past the mileage already - you shouldn’t be having issues with a 2-yr old truck. The batteries in those sensors should go 10-12 years

I have the duel TRD exhaust and use neutral a lot to coast down hills .. got to 14.4 lol ... backed off hyper mile antics but still not putting foot into it and already lost .1 so down to 14.3

After a long flat roadtrip at around 65 mph I did see 14.7 ( hand calculate prob higher but the in town driving drags the average back down quick)

There’s a button under the steering wheel on the plastic piece. It’s for the TPMS. Don’t know if you have messed with it. I have never messed with it but worth a try. Read the manual for the procedure. Might help with your issue.

Got the Tacoma leather steering wheel and controls installed. The connections on the back of the steering wheel controls are the same but the harness from the Tacoma is a different plug so I swapped the tundra steering wheel harness into the Tacoma wheel and it was all good. I’m loving the leather upgrade and the dark controls

I did the same thing. My favorite mod I've done, is the leather steering wheel.

The fact that the tundra doesn’t come with a leather wheel on the TRD sport is surprising.
The splines on the Tacoma wheel are off slightly compared to my tundra wheel so I need to get an alignment done to center the wheel again but it’s no big deal.

Yep, mine is the same way. I'll be getting a alignment in about month.
