I think it was @jerryallday that asked about the antenna. God knows that notification was lost over the last 24 hrs.

    Regardless.

Yes, it is. I spent a lot of time under the hood of that XJ over the course of 6 years.

Still got the Renix set-up in the XJ?

Today I got the body side moldings put back on after burning the midnight oil claying, compounding, polishing and waxing it, which I'm getting too old to do without paying a price for. Once I got that done I replaced the PVC valve and grommet and called it a day. Now I have to prepare for the timing belt job for peace of mind.

I think @jerryallday also asked about the door panel.

If construction materials keep going up, I’m gonna part this truck out for screws.

Hahaha I looks like mine, but I used Gorilla glue. Let me know about the antenna, I need this bolt below, it’s the chrome one.

I have the plastic molding already. Just need part #4

    Polish jobs deserve photos.

What do you plan to seal it with?

I sealed the pure polish with some Meguiar's Gold Class.

Edit: This was just an initial clean-up so I could get a better look and feel for the condition of the paint. I'll go back soon and redo the job a 2nd time even more thoroughly but apply 3M Paint Protection (commercial grade) after the polish but prior to a wax on top of the 3M.

I would imagine it does. It was stock except for the exhaust and lift. I found out later that it has the I4 and not the I6 though. My friend plans on doing an LS swap when the I4 is ready to retire since it will be almost equal to the labor and cost to put the I6 in.

I did the PHM steering seal fix today. I could tell it's been torn for a while, but I finally schmeared some silicone on the tears in the rubber. Big difference in noise

This memorial day I spent my morning and afternoon ripping out my intake and then the two air switching valves and the secondary air pump. I really only needed the switches to fix codes P1441 and P1444 but I don't want to rip this thing apart again So the pump is getting replaced as well but I am not bending over for father Yota and shelling out $600 for a new pump I'm going to buy and '03 Sonoma pump which is the exact same minus the connector So just slice the old one on and boom saved $400. Also went ahead and cleaned the throttle body and tried to get as much oily bs out of the manifold. And this is only the beginning. Still have to replace all of my universal joints, carrier bearing, Upper and lower ball joints and the cu de gra, Timing belt and Water pump.

I spent last night scouring this place to find out what to do with those codes and It led me to this tundra solutions PDF about bypassing the system and the pump was just something they mentioned, and I found a few guys that had done it on their 07's. Might make a thread about this process after this endeavor for those who are as unlucky as me living with CARB BS.

Understood. The Renix is a quirky set-up but there are cheap, simple workarounds for it. I understand the urge to put an LS in it though.

emblems are back on the truck. Went with a 2nd gen blacked out emblems set. I still haven’t decided if the sr5 badges are going back on or not

Built a traction board mount for the snugtop.

still need to spray paint everything and do some trimming. But here it is. Cost was about
$30 the metal was the most expensive part.

    @Professional Hand Model

So getting a picture of these things properly lit up proved difficult. My iPhone distorts it pretty bad and definitely doesn’t do them justice. The cargo lights pretty well light up the bed and a clean white color and the brake light is still crisp and clear behind the tint. I’d buy em again in heartbeat. I’ve got zero complaints about the diode dynamics bulbs on the truck

*also anybody got any tips or tricks for takin a picture of lights and getting a good one? Every time I try they suck. Secondly why do my pictures rotate when they get uploaded?

This guy on Instagram is selling a third brake light/chase/ cargo light plug and play. He also does headlight retro fit halos.
He’s legit, I have bought from him before. Chase light is $350 plus shipping

his truck is also very nice.
