The new neighbors (1974) sold the house to fund retirement in a senior place a year ago. Sold for $845k which I thought was underpriced. New owner tore it down & is building 2 houses. I just don't understand how they pass zoning, but apparently they do. One house is listed at $2,155,000. The 2nd at $2,335,000. I just can't wrap my head around it. There's barely room to drive a Tundra between the two houses. Hopefully the developer buys us out next.

Got a new thing to invest in my future dirt biking endeavors now that I have that camper shell
I ordered some cargo rails for the roof of my shell. Maybe a basket or solar panels? I'm not sure yet.

That’s similar to how I ran them before. But hmm.. I’ll see how this works out. As it is I’ve got no run except full stuff. But it’s only happened once so I have bent see where exactly yet

Back in 2007 I went driveabout. Left NY, ended up in 'Armadillo' TX. Nice country but felt a touch intrusively small. Sort of town everyone knows everyone's business, or talks like they do. Back to NY via Atlanta. Birmingham looked interesting, rush hour traffic flowed smoothly at 70mph - that was nice. Rush hour traffic in NY could flow at 07mph. :-(

Septic systems are a lot more resilient than you think. The amount of water from washing dishes isn't going to cause any harm even if you're doing it 6 times a day.

Septic is very common in my area and I can count on one hand people I know who've had issues with them and those are typically 30+ year old systems.

Yes Grasshopper. You could live well under the Bridge. Grow that Beard. Raise some Chickens and Cows. Plants grow nicely in the BR Mist, too. No need for Septic as the Fresh Running Stream is available.

Free yourself from Coolifornia Paradigm, become One with Gia, and you’ll find that 8 car garage is not a necessity!

Mine works like a dream, I've hauled two bikes with my shell on. These have a nut you can tighten where it will tighten inside the hitch receiver to prevent slop.

This is my latest sheet. Tech said he's going to adjust caster and adjust spring preload next time I go in. Truck feels good right now.

Mine came with something similar. It's an anti-sway bracket and it tightens with a few bolts.

My biggest fear is the bike taking out my rear window. Any tips/tricks in what I could do to ensure it won't? I'm thinking a chunk of one of those fat pool noodles around the the handlebar grip or something.

Swapped from SCS F5s to TRD Sema (yes the F5s are cooler). Looking forward to mud and debris not slinging on my paint lol. Tires are 265/70/17. But Discount Tire is letting me trade up to 285s on Monday. Can't tell in the picture, but given my lift, the 265s look a little silly in real life.

So I originally tried another carrier with the setup like yours with the anti-sway bracket. It could have worked if I was willing to risk it, but it was still a bit sloppy when under weight. I wasn't comfortable with it so I sold it and found my Joe Hauler used. Joe Hauler had always been recommended to me. This one might work for you, but I highly recommend trying to find a used Joe Hauler if you can, preferably the welded one.

To protect the rear window, I have a piece of ABS tubing that fits in between the front forks. It presses against the tire and fender. What it does is keep the forks from collapsing so 1. tie downs can't somehow come off and I lose the bike 2. handlebars don't smash through camper shell.

Yep cash was on his end. The way I look at it is I saved a bunch on some brand spanking new K02s!

Thanks man, try to keep it nice. These wheels will help with that. Going from super aggressive 305s et-35 or whatever is a big change LOL but there's something to be said about a clean truck with OEM wheels and KO2s.

My cruise control on the sequoia has started acting up. Sometimes it won't engage and then it will magically fix itself. Didn't work this morning. The green cruise light comes on, but it won't set. Any ideas?

There are a lot of variables that will make or break a septic system. The land you are on and the load you put on the drain field are the main factors.

My brother is on septic and we replaced his leach line recently. Prior home owner had a pool installed and assumingly the pool company rerouted the leach line. They ran one 30' perforated stick, no gravel. Somehow that worked for 13 years before failing. We ran 2 70' runs with 18" of gravel below, 1' above, and 2' wide. He should never have a problem again.

When it won’t engage, is your cruise light on ?
Have you checked vacuum lines, in particular the cruise actuator ?
Had a tail light of all things go out on Tundra which in turn affected cruise

Supposedly in the 3rd gen 4runners, the 3rd brake light could cause all kinds of issues when it burnt out/acting up.

Check your brake lights to make sure they are working. My brake light switch started acting up and it messed with my cruise too. Mine still worked but the light would blink.

I like those things. A truck should be able to support that torsional load fine. I saw one on an escape or something similar and it moved about 10" up and down on each side. When the guy hit a bump, one side was almost on the ground. Maybe it would work that way for eternity, but it didn't instill confidence in me.
