Will do. I’ll report back. Bumping is a quick turn and release immediately?

Yep. I heard all different reasoning for it on t4r but most believe it’s to conserve the starter since it’s a pain to get to and replace.

Well, without trying it first I’ll not know but logically thinking the best I’d start is at ‘1’ and right now I’m at ‘3’ saving 2 hits.

My starter is the heavy duty one. Original 2002.

I used a 14mm open end wrench and needle nose vicegrip to hold the top of the shock and then a vicegrip on the shock shaft with a small piece of sand paper for grip. Only taking off the old shock.

The new Bilstein had a hex in the top of it so I was able to use a Allen wrenches to keep the new shock shaft from spinning. Other shocks have it and some other shocks have a ground flat spot on the top of the shaft that will allow you to use a 1/4 open end wrench to keep it from turning.

Just installed new LED bulbs inside the truck. The door lights are impressive but the ones above my head are a bit disappointing. I like the fact that they are white instead of yellow but I really thought they would be brighter.

I’ll probably wire them up temporarily using the harness BD provides just because I’m anxious and I hate it when vehicles have lights that aren’t functional. Next time I see you on the street, I’ll give you a little flash.

Wtf I’ve never heard of that, I do the one bump on My 2015 Silverado but the starter continues by itself until started.

I feel like my truck would just bump once and not start lol but I’ll try tonight.

My 05 starts the same way. Just a bump of the key and the starter keeps going until it starts. My Mercedes is the same.

Same thing here. I don’t think ours have the bump option. I haven’t tried it yet but will tomorrow. I have tried it in the past to no avail, but will hold off on absoluteness until tomorrow.

If ours had a bump it would start on first millisecond? Having a hard time seeing my truck start faster than the 1 second it takes now.

Outside? Don't have those yet. Will advise once they are installed. Loving these inside LEDs though. Especially now.

Put a jumper wire across the two terminals on those map lights and all it takes is one push to light both.
Solid white wire in the shape of a rainbow is the jumper.

Tried the bump thing and it turned over once and wouldn’t start, had to start it the normal way.

ICON 2.5 shocks with King 14" 700lb coils, Camburg UCAs, ICON V2.0 rear shocks.
    :fistbump:Bumper here.

Removed my front Icons and took them to the shop and had them screwed down to 1-3/8" which gave me 1" more lift on the driver's and 3/4" on the passenger's. Looks much better.
