Put on my KB Voodoo bed rack, now the big wait for the RTT. Also will be listing my Bakfip tonneau soon. BTW, these @Archive medium duty springs ride so nice. Way better than OEM and an AAL.

How long is the wait on those? I ordered a tepui from work for my in laws and it was a good 2 months or more. I've heard good things about 23zero. I think we were even trying to get them on some demos at work, but icamper seems like our go-to. They are very easy to put up though.

I ordered it Feb. 4th and was told June sometime. In my research it seemed like 23zero was perfect for what I want. iKamper makes a nice RTT but it is double the price.

Yeah I get that. I think icamper is very cool, but I don't know that I'd buy one. I'm more of a tepui/23zero and hamburger kinda guy and not an icamper and langoustine kinda guy.

Hola friends, been lurking for a while, or maybe just waiting for something worthwhile to post.

Found an ‘87 pickup as a project, but realistically it’s so clean I’m just going to daily it... until it becomes a dedicated hunting truck. A652B028-A292-489B-B7C5-3469888A28EF.jpg

Hahaha. I do love me some langoustine though. Just can't stomach the price of one of those hard shells.

I'm jealous. I was thinking fir a few days how much I would like an 80s truck with a flat bed or similar. I'm going to get rid of one of my cars next year and keep thinking what kind of project should I replace it with.

the axle seal leak is making me Debate a full float axle swap. Either a GM 14 bolt or a sterling 10.25.

can get a decent 14 bolt with 4.56 gears for a few hundred. If I’m lucky, the spring perches will line up, or I’ll weld new ones. Brakes are still drum, so they should be easy. Shock relocate from Archive Garage, and figure out the drive shaft yoke and away we’d go.

    tell me I’m stupid.

My driver side door is suddenly hard to open. I am trying to figure put how to approach that, not sure if its that the handle isn't moving the mechanism enough to open, or if the striker deal needs adjustment. It is hard to open whether I'm in the truck getting out or outside the truck getting in. Any ideas or advice?

I did give the part on the door that hooks the little thing on the other door a blast of lube. It didn't help.

Is the seal sticking? some silicone may help with that. If it's the mechanism, may need to pull the door card, clean and lube the assembly for the lock and latch. Then re-lube. Sometimes just lube-ing the crusty part isn't enough.

I'll try that, thanks. I'm planning to pull the panel this week for sound deadening and round 2 of trying to force a speaker wire in the door.

I think it far more likely a cable in the door stretched or slipped, or a bit of thin metal bent than the chance your striker has gone awry.

I'll suggest you get the door card off the door soonest, while you can still open the door.

@NUDRAT yeah that sounds sensible. Luckily I don't drive it often but I will get the door panel off probably Tuesday. I hate working on doors.

Replaced my steering shaft seal today and did the fog light anytime mod. Went for a ride to see how the new heavy duty leaf springs feel and they're nice. Very compliant, not harsh at all going over railroad tracks, they feel better than my old stock springs. A big thumbs up so far. No pics so this internet photo of a cool T-shirt will have to do.
