I guess I'll finally replace the rear O2 sensors since the drivers side just blew out and they're both now held in with copper wire wrapped around the pipe.

Are you referring to the Deaver AAL and leaving in the overload spring? If that's the case, that's what I'm running in the rear.

Well today was riveting. I installed the single windshield washer nozzle. I now I have one that shoots a wide spray and one stream. I put the good one on the driver side.

Yep. I got bamboozled by ebay seller. Thought I was getting 2, only got 1. Good times.

I remember someone posted somewhere that the Toyota FJ cruisers have compatible spray nozzles but their mist/spray pattern is a lot better or something.

That's what happens to me a lot too. When I bought that alternator diode fuse for that AGM battery mod, I could've sworn I was buying a pack of 7. The pics even showed that many. When only one was delivered, I went to the listing and it showed different pics and only one in the pack. There was also a new and large warning that there is only 1 in a package. kinda sus

The dealership replaced the UCA & UBJ on the passenger side, and then they aligned it.
She rides & steers so much better now that the front end is healthy again.

Good for me = Bad for them:
They misquoted the job by about $150... they reduced my bill by about $300.
Not so bad for them, because they know that I will be back for more work that I can't do myself.

Technically any resistor can do this. This is why I avoid running them. They build up heat by design. If you have it tucked somewhere here there’s no airflow, it’s possible this can happen

We’re trying to do the same for countries that make bat soup. Someday soon it’d be great if them cigar smokin CEO’s would make “Made in America” a thing again. There’s all kind of cheap labor wanting to realize the Merican dream !

Rinsed off the undercarriage and seated the bead I popped over the weekend. Gas-powered air compressor FTW. Properly torqued the wheel I put on this weekend. No tie downs, starting fluid or visits to the cavemen.

I’ve had to re bead cart racing tires, on stretched rims, that felt super sketchy pumping the nitrogen regulator up above 150 to seat them!

When I was a kid, I learned what one of these air compressors can do to a bicycle tube.

Slowly getting back in the saddle and the one project I feel I can handle is my BT switch on steering wheel project. Anyone know what Toyota called the light brown color. Have found many threads here and other places speaking of grey and black but lgt brown eludes me. Going to our Raceway pik-a-part place today to look at ~ 15 veh that are supposed to be compatible, so we'll see. Would love to simply order and get on with project, already got ribbon cable and itching to get busy.

@empty_lord or anyone, is the below semi accurate to pick from ?

Amazing how many times people overlook the first law of thermodynamics - like these things are magic instead. All resistors do is convert the extra energy to heat - much like your engine.

Thanks to FGVADD, I’m considering @des2mtn Ground Breaking ‘Unibrow Wiper Nozzle Mod’. Two OEM Squirters with a FJ Mister in the middle. Might make the big time with this one.

Yes. I’m doing my best here on the Island as shipping costs of the Himalayan Heavy Water are a killer. All those minerals are vital. Been working up a dry powder formula to add to the Fluid Rez that mimics the Essence of Tranquility from Mediating next to the Himalayan River Slopes.

Maybe I’ll fab up a dedicated rez just for the HHW (Himalayan Heavy Water) and use the 3rd Wurrld Squirters with it. When Stressed or Ailing from a days journey, simply squirt a Refreshing HHW Ion Water Mist and inhale a few droplets for better health.
