See if you can look up a parts fiche for your bike to see if there even is a set for your pads. It's not uncommon for those shims to be thrown out with the old pads when replacing. That shim is mostly what prevents brake squeal. Some aftermarket pads can be the culprit as well, did you go with aftermarket or OEM replacement pads?

I used EBC rotors and pads per recommendations. No shims were on the oldies and none with the new ones but I’ll checkout a parts dialog and see if I can get em

I always say any electronics on Amazon are available cheaper on China where they're made anyway.
I found the exact unit, but only $5 cheaper. For the extra shipping time not worth it.

But that 5 mega on flash deal.... Hmmm.
Actually, found it on Ali shipping from USA with a 10m cable. 32' would let me inspect drain/sewer lines. 16' good, but 32' better.

I think that was where someone installed a 5th wheel hitch on the truck before I got it. It had the ball sticking out of the bed.

He’s not part of the biohazard club, or the zombie outbreak response team, so maybe he felt sheepish if a empty hole was the first thing everyone saw

I'm about to do an entire front end refresh with UBJ, LBJ, inner & outer tie rod ends, sway bar links and 5100's. While sitting thinking through some of this today, I had an interesting thought.

I need to get about 2" in the front out of the 5100s to keep my truck where it is with the spacer lift that is currently on it. This means either 4th or 5th notch on the 5100s. I have read people crying about how harsh the ride is once you get past the second notch. Why not set the 5100's to the first notch and keep the spacer? One of my main goals is to gain some of that smooth, showroom floor like ride back.

I can get some bumpstop spacers to keep from bottoming out the shock and boom, win, win, win, all around right?

    Has anyone else attempted this?

The final results. Super happy with how it came out. Just in time for a trip to the Ozarks this week

wish I would’ve weighed it while it was disassembled but didn’t have my scale on me.

ended up using Steel-It instead of Powdercoating due to time and cost. Came out super thick. I’m hoping it’ll last just as long if not longer!

Spacers up front just don't ride well. Buy either the ARB, Eibach or Dobinsons coils for the 5100s and you'll get the lift you want without the harshness. Check out 1stgenoffroad, he has multiple different options for coils and lift heights.

The view of those shocks might as well be a pic of some serious cleavage, I keep looking

I read a rumor that the kit was discontinued so I got scared and ordered it. Now I just need to find time.

I am by no means a suspension guru but I cannot see in the slightest how spacers will affect ride. Unless of course your ride includes hitting bump stops. I can see them altering geometry but they don’t change any pre-loads or alter the dampening ability. My thought on front spacers is “imagine moving the coil bucket down X amount.”

@MrDirtjumper if you are okay with the ride height you have today then maybe run the 5100s on the lowest notch and keep the spacer. Won't be much different than what you are used to. Or try it out on 2nd notch with the soacer and see how it goes, worst case you can easily remove the assembly and reset it if its bad.
