14 hours one way! I think the drive is worth it for sure. I was looking online to try and determine what gear ratio I will have to do a conversion to and the 2005 double cab has the mismatched ratios on each site I looked at.

Check this one out. I'm pretty sure the ratios are supposed to match as well.

It's under axle ratio on the Advanced technical data.

Do you have a 2 wheel drive? If you have a 4 wheel drive that carrier bearing should be the sealed one.20200618_121835.jpg

Ohms tested the OLD injectors. All were within spec reading about 13.9 (+/-.2).

NEW injectors package cover states the 12 hole injectors test at 13.

You are in FL right? That is some legit logic. We are in Ga but thinking about moving to a state that gets a fair amount of snow, so I don't think that would be a good idea, but if we end up staying here in GA I might consider this as it makes perfect sense.

OLD MAF Ohms Test results in a fail. Should be reading Spec at 2.19-2.67. Look at the dirt/burnt prongs. Even with cleaning they still stay like this.

I know you like protecting your money makers, but does it ever take away from your sensory or tactile use when trying to work on the truck?

So far everything replaced in Engine Performance over the last 2 years has been out of Ohm Spec (ignition coils, o2 Sensors, MAF) except the Fuel Injectors. Haven’t flow tested those so we’ll never know Post-mortem Spec.

FYI: No CEL (check engine lights) for any of these deficiencies. Yes my CEL works.

That site is wrong...the axle ratios have to match. The odd thing is your truck is listed as a 3.92 and the DCs as a 3.91...which seems weird, so you may need to swap at least one of the gears anyway...or take the opportunity to do 4.10 or 4.56....this is the official 2005 tundra brochure...

These are Nitrile Gloves. They form fit and are the best gloves I’ve ever used in terms of Tactile Sensory. I use them to gently pick up Ants off the sidewalk so people don’t step on them.

Nitrile coated right? Next time your at big box, look for gorilla grip or gorilla gloves, much thinner woven material, then covered by another thin nitrile layer I believe. You’ll discover sensei moves you never knew you had before!

I have a secret book of moves I’ve yet unleashed here on this site. Might write about them in a book called Hand Jives by PHM.

My truck is 4wd and TuRD ‘Off Road Spec’ and came factory without a sealed unit. The VIN Spec even suggested the unsealed one when I put in New One. I wonder whats up with this?

Not sure, but I’ve been scouting this site for potential models. So far @FirstGenVol has the nicest hands. When I say that, I mean he keeps things manicured nicely. They are small hands, though, so for that he gets one demerit.

Yes. @rock climber he's got a good suggestion. I would do that seal while you're in there. It's worth the $13.

Did you go with an OEM blower motor or aftermarket? This might be the last summer for mine.

I went with the TYC brand, I think it was $31 on Amazon. I’ve always used them for non-critical replacement parts and haven’t been let down so far - we’ll see how long this one lasts.

I just replaced mine with OEM so much nicer now that it doesn't sound like little mice are running though it, the squeak was obnoxious!

No, I ended up buying that Smittybilt unit. It seems well built for the money! Why, did you find a good deal?
