Are these the original speakers? What is the rebuild process?

Original JBL speakers. Bought the rebuild kit because my passenger door speaker foam was wasted and sounded like trash. Rebuild kit was 25 bucks for two speakers. Theres a step by step video on YouTube that walks you through applying a new foam ring.

So I bought a rear.bumper a couple weeks ago that needed some love. So I got aalocal TW/TTC member, Nathan of Trail Toys to do some work on it. Here' a few sneak peaks. Next weekend I should have time to install it and wire some reverse lights.

Installed the new rear diff breather with an extension going up to behind the gas cap door area. Used about 5’ of 3/8” inside diameter rubber gas hose. Perfect fit diameter.

Inspected around for this transfer case breather. Its located on the very top of the case in a difficult spot to reach. Did some arm yoga and was able to put my hand on the cap. It was stuck in one postion. Spun it and tapped it multiple times until the spring action kicked in. Squirted it with PB blast. Spun it again and feels like the factory action is working on it. Good thing because it is in a difficult location to replace.

Teflon sprayed the upper control arm bushings. Looked at the upper ball joint. Is there any benefit to lubing these joints? Mine are the OEM originals and are still in great shape per the service techs that rebuilt the front end a few months back. Feels like there is no more grease in the rubber. Thinking about getting a needle and injecting some grease in there.

    Whatcha think?

Researched the lubing of non zerk bushings. Gonna buy a needle for the grease gun hose tip and pierce inject grease until the bushing swells. Will be doing the upper ball and tie rods.

Ran across another nice piece of side info that will help me hopefully solve the front propeller shaft grease zerk situation I’m having by not being able to squirt grease in them (2). The rear prop have 5 joints that grease easily. The front two won’t take grease. The tip fits on but grease squeezes out at the fitting. Thinking the zerks have hardened grease. Will remove them, HEAT them up to melt grease and test them. Whilst off I’ll grease inside the prop through where the zerks were. Screw zerks back on after.

Plumped up the upper-control arm and outside tie rod bushings with some grease via needle injection. Also, shot some in the dust cover of the inner tie rods.

Removed rear door inside panels to inspect speakers. Looking for a rattle. They are in fine shape. The rattle was from a worn foam pad at the door handle where it sits on a metal support. Cleaned it up and installed some weather gasket in place. Rattle gone.

Lubed up the door cables and latch springs.

Still stumped on this front propeller zerk situation. No way to remove the zerk or fill it due to them being offset. Might have to partially grind one side of the grease tip to make it happen.

I have had this beast about 30 days now...
    2001 Extra Cab SR5 4x4. 219K
She had already been completely de-badged when I got her.
So far I have done the timing belt, replaced the leaking exhaust manifolds with JBA Cat4ward headers, repaired the exhaust pipe back to the muffler, replaced the muffler with a Flow Master 2 into 1, removed the dual tailpipes with chrome tips and added just a single 3 inch tailpipe that dumps behind the passenger side rear tire.

Last night I bought and put on a set of 2014 (i think) Tacoma Wheels
